If I got my hands on the 2010 movies ooo the last 3 would've been so different.
I would keep First Class mostly the same. Mostly. Minus Cuba they'd just be fighting against Shaw and Shaw would be defeated but everyone would think that Charles died. He's unmoving, Erik hears his voice fade taking off the helmet as Charles lay injured. To me that makes much better sense at the end with the "left a bit of a gap" with the Emma breakout scene. It'd be much better if Raven and Erik thought Charles died.
Cut to movie 2: Charles is back, school is open; Hank, Moira, Sean, and Alex opening it after the events of First Class. (Moira has her mutant abilities btw.) Charles has reappeared some years earlier but with no memories of where he was or what happened. Anyways Trask is an issue but he used plastic weapons to capture both Raven and Erik. Raven was able to escape. Trask taunts Erik in his cell via TV or something. He mentions going after Charles but Erik believes him to still be dead. Trask goes to Westchester where he captures Moira in hopes of making her a damsel in distress. She's not really distressed as she is frustrated. Anyways they break Erik out, Erik is pissed at Charles for being alive bc all this time, a decade of grieving and Charles is fucking alive!?!?! Erik saying "you abandoned me!" This time around. They defeat trask and the sentinels.
Movie 3: WE INTRODUCR LILIANDRA AND THE SHI'AR!!!!! It opens with Liliandra calling out to Charles, Charles calls her name back which confuses everyone in the middle of the night who hears it even Charles when he wakes. It starts with Liliandras brother being evil but he's soon overthrown, but then Liliandras sister, Deathbird, starts to plan a way to get Liliandra from the throne, if all exiled or executed for crimes she didn't commit. Liliandra and some of her followers go to earth. However stuff happens and while most end up in Westchester, but one ends up on Genosha and Erik; Erik isn't trusting but the one with him says DeathBird is right and all that mombo jumbo. Charles and Erik clash, and it ends up with Charles ready to die as a Shi'Ar that's pro DeathBird is ready to execute him. Fortunately Erik arrives in time and saves Charles's ass. (Which leads to a long and heated discussion about a martyr complex Charles may or may not have). The movie will end with Lilandra and Charles keeping in contact but going their separate ways (Moira comes in and leaves with Lilandra). The final scene will be in a room, whether it's the manor, genosha, or a cabin in a secluded forest with Charles waking up and Erik wrapped up in Charles's arms
