in the second pic, i thinkkk..? aizawa still has his quirk activated ? based on his eyes? 😭 but his hair is down

i can’t pull up the manga panels rn but i feel like this was also the case back then because this has been KILLINNGG me since the leaks. like is it just a storyboard/animation error. is there a reason for him to also activate his erasure even though it’s not effective? does it still work but just not as well so he’s there as backup for monoma? is it activated in solidarity with monoma? as emotional support? does this man have a serious case of fomo???
