Every time Grace said that he talks too much, I wanted to hug him, because I know how it feels to feel like a social burden and annoying by how talkative I am ☹️
platonic prongsfoot this... platonic bartylus that....
can we PLEASE let them kiss.
Having my favorite movie be a shitty C-list animated movie sucks because no one will take me seriously when I say I love it. Like yes, it’s cheesy, however look at the unintentional metaphors for queerness. Ignore the joke about turning a cow into a vampire. Look at how one family accepts their child’s interest in the otherness but only if he keeps it quiet. Look at how the other family denies the other child the right to forge his own path. IGNORE THE FLYING VAMPIRE COW AND OVER THE TOP EXAGGERATED GERMAN ACCENTS.
Rammstein making of album photo-session screenshots- Imagine how hard it must be, getting this bunch to sit still for just a few minutes... 😃😄😂🥰
Kali: You need to kill yourself. Because I say so.
El: Oh okay, makes sense. Guess I'll die.
WHAT HAPPENED TO SEASON 3???? TO HER HAVING HER VOICE AND CHOICE? WHAT? Why is she just listening to whatever anyone tells her again? WHAT HAPPENED TO SEASON 4???
How can a person want to kill a female protagonist so bad that they brainwash her AGAIN in order to do so. Crazy work.
El is a girl. Not a weapon. So why kill someone who is percieved as dangerous weapon when you've told us all she ever wanted to be is a girl?

The Trailblazer is probably Himeko’s favorite of the ‘junior express’ tbh.
For multiple reasons. Partially because of ‘similar to younger self’ thing i think, but also just vibes. Every time we see Himeko & Trailblazer interact, they just kinda seem closer than when Himeko interacts with the other three imo?
Maybe favorite is the wrong word. The one Himeko gets along with the best, and is closest to.
With the others, i think the sense of respect and concern is too strong.
Dan Henf, March, and Sunday- they all respect Himeko too much to allow themselves to mess around with her. Himeko worries too much about them to let her own guard down. Theres a sense of requirement to be all put together around the other.
And obviously, Trailblazer respects Himeko a fuck ton, and Himeko is concerned for Trailblazer consistently. (Actually id argue at a baseline she probably worries for TB more bc they get wrapped up in the center of EVERYTHING)
But Trailblazer also isnt someone who really lets the respect they have for someone conceal their own identity. They will act more mature around those they hold in high regard such as Aglaea, but not to a overwhelming degree. They will still mess around, they just dont mess off as much as they do around their ‘peers’. In a way, they seem to find it disrespectful to be someone they arent in front of people they respect. They will act more serious when the situation calls for it, they will act more mature in front of certain people, but they are still a lighthearted person. They dont change that.
And Himeko knows that of all people, Trailblazer is someone who can handle themself. Yes, she will still worry about them. But of the 3, Himeko has so far only verbally acknowledged the Trailblazer as a fully fledged Trailblazer iirc. Beyond that, its difficult to keep her facade as being the fully put together, responsible Navigator around them. The Trailblazer is good at breaking things, and that included even the strongest emotional walls.
During the portion where it was just Himeko & Trailblazer, we see Himeko open up significantly more than with anyone else. Had it been anyone else, she would not have, and thats not even because TB is the MC but bc Trailblazer’s character.
Trailblazer respects Himeko. As their senior, as the unofficial leader of the Express, as a person, as a mentor, and as a friend. But they dont let their respect place Himeko on a pedestal above them. Partly because the respect they hold for her is too high to do so, id say. They know what idolizing can do to someone. They’ve seen it on multiple occasions: the more someone is idolized, the more they are isolated.
Himeko is well aware that people need independence to grow- she didnt step in during Belobog for thst reason till it was properly necessary iirc. She stayed back in Luofu because she trusted them (nd Welt). In Penacony, she played a supporting role, but let Trailblazer and Penacony’s cast take the lead roles. And then in Amphoreus, she was basically barred from lending any aid at all till the very end, and in the end, there wasnt much for her to do. And in Amphoreus, her juniors went through equal amounts of growth and trauma. Without her support.
The Trailblazer, no doubt, got the worst of it all. But ultimately they pulled through. Majorly, on their own. Trailblazer experience Amphoreus in a manner unique to them (and Cyrene). Ultimately, they experienced it in such an isolated, connected way, that nobody could truly fully understand or offer them the full support needed to process it. Nobody else had the same connection with the world and the Heirs, with Cyrene. Their loss was one sympathized with, but not fully understood. They needed to, and still are, ultimately recovering from it all alone.
Himeko witnessed this. Understood this. And resolved to do her best to make sure that the Trailblazer would not have to do that again. The second March was no longer at Trailblazer’s side, she was. She didnt leave their side at all once she was.
And in return, they grew closer. For the first time in probably years, Himeko let down the walls of the distinguished Navigator, and was more Himeko than Navigator.
It probably surprised her. 15 years of walls. And then a day at most of one-on-one with Trailblazer and they started crumbling.
