Months later he runs into one of Buck's coworkers who dumps drunk Buck in his lap, and then he finds out Eddie is gone, suddenly decides he might have a chance again, goes back to Buck's house, finds out it's Eddie's house, hooks up with Buck, in the bare mattress on the floor while Buck is the "he didn't even have a headboard" final boss, in Eddie's house fully aware. Wakes up before Buck, gets up, unpacks a coffeemaker, pans, plates, cutlery, goes out, buys about a 100 dollars worth of groceries, more eggs than most people could afford at that particular place in time, champagne. Then Buck assumes the hookup meant nothing, but he's ready to go again because he can live with Eddie's ghost. Then he opens his mouth and calls Eddie the competition, Buck snaps, says he doesn't want to fuck people he has feelings for, implying he has feelings for Eddie he can't act on, and he doesn't have feelings for everyone he fucks, implying he doesn't have feelings for Tommy. Then the guy thanks Buck for the sex, doesn't take a single piece of that mountain of bacon he fried, and leaves. Then Buck hits him up, and he steals LAFD property to help him and risks terrorism charges using a stolen helicopter to distract the police. Mind you, this man is in his 40s. Dude, stand UP.
