Slumber Party Challenge

Questions:

What would you do at your slumber party? Dance party, lots of games and food, probably a movie marathon once we got sleepy.

What kind of movies would you watch? Well, board games would be the main event, but after we all got sleepy we’d pile all the pillows/blankets/etc we could find in a big puddle on the floor and curl up for a Harry Potter marathon.

What would you eat? I would definitely make some sick appetizers & dessert type food - chips & veggies with various dips (buffalo chicken dip for sure), probably crock pot of meatballs or little smokies, cookies, etc. But we’d also order pizza.

What would you drink? Well, I’d definitely have a wide variety of beverages available, including several different brands of beer, bottles of wine, and sodas.

What board games would you bring out? All of them. We’d definitely play my favorites: Betrayal at the House on the Hill, Small World, Killer Bunnies, Munchkin, hopefully someone would bring Dominion which I don’t have but love, MTG if anyone else has decks, Cards Against Humanity... yeah, games! I love games.

I can get healthcare through where I work so it’s not that big of a deal. I was hoping to have a much better job by now though. I’m filling out stuff online to go over all my options. For the most part I am very healthy *knocks on wood* so I don’t know how much I will actually use it.

Vampire, Nymph and Shapeshifter!

Vampire: Someone offers you a chance at immortality. Do you take it, and why or why not?

Ack! Yes! No! GAH! Okay, part of me wants to say yes because HULLO ACCRUE ZILLIONS! (and then do noble things with it. Like a vampire sponsored foundation that supports research for blood borne disease or something) But then there’s the flip side of the coin - I don’t know if I could watch my children grow old and die. I have a hard enough time imagining the next 10 years.

Nymph: What are you like when you’re by yourself?

Pretty fucking boring. I like wearing my jammies, and writing. I always have a water bottle nearby. When I am alone-alone (like when the Manthing worked in the Patch), I am a diligent and epic housekeeper. I probably watch too much TV when I’m on my own. I get lonely for people, and at the same time can’t stand company so I tend toward getting lost in my head, which is never a good place.

Shapeshifter: What would you change about yourself?

I wish I was taller. Seriously. If I could change any one thing that is currently beyond my control to change, it would be being taller.

lilghostpepper tagged me to post the last 10 non-selfie pictures on my phone. I can't lie, I edited the list a little bit, or it would have been 10 pics of Peaches. I left off the ones that were super similar to the ones I posted. So we have: 1-6 Peaches getting settled in. I have to take a lot of pictures to get good ones for her adoption page, ok?! 7 & 8: From the 5K walk I did on Saturday. 9 & 10: funnies I saved to text to friends. Wow my phone is boring hahaha. Thanks, you guys. It’s just one of those things that comes and goes. It will go forever and not bother me, then it’s like maybe something in there moves or shifts, and suddenly every step hurts.  That’s one reason I stopped walking so much. I used to walk about 5 miles every morning, but my knees started hurting so much, I quit doing that. Jazzercise doesn’t bother it, nor does biking, but that repetitive walking motion seemed to be the problem. 

I’ve been slacking off on the collagen supplement lately too ... maybe that’s part of it. Need to get back to taking that daily.
