Despite being a kook, Rafe is drawn to her wild, free-spirited energy, similar to JJ’s but with a softer, more empathetic edge.

She’s hesitant about him at first, knowing his reputation, but she can’t deny the magnetic pull between them.

They keep their relationship under wraps to avoid drama, especially from JJ, who would lose his mind if he found out his sister was dating Rafe Cameron.

Their secret meet-ups often happen late at night on the beach or in secluded parts of the island.

The reader brings out the best in Rafe, encouraging him to work on his temper and impulsive behavior.

She’s one of the few people who can calm him down during his darker moments, grounding him when he feels like he’s spiraling.

He loves the way she challenges him, never letting him get away with his typical cocky attitude.

JJ eventually finds out and loses it, threatening to beat Rafe to a pulp. The reader has to talk with him, insisting that Rafe is different with her.

Rafe, despite his arrogance, respects JJ’s protective nature but struggles to prove he’s serious about the relationship.

Over time, JJ accepts it, though he never stops giving Rafe a hard time about “stealing his sister.”

The reader introduces Rafe to the simplicity of pogue life, taking him fishing, surfing, and on boat rides that don’t involve luxury yachts. He secretly loves it.

Rafe introduces her to the perks of kook life, spoiling her with expensive dinners, gifts, and parties—though she insists she doesn’t need any of it.

The relationship is filled with ups and downs, with Rafe’s temper and family issues often causing tension.

The reader stands by him, but she refuses to let him drag her down, which motivates Rafe to work on himself.

She’s loyal to him, even when others (including her pogue friends) warn her to stay away.

Rafe loves sneaking into her side of the island, bringing her small gifts or just spending quiet moments under the stars.

He’s surprisingly protective of her, going out of his way to make sure she’s safe, even if it means clashing with other kooks.

She teases him about his kook arrogance, and he teases her about her pogue stubbornness.

Rafe dreams about building a life with her away from the pressures of the kook world and his family’s expectations.

She helps him believe he’s capable of being more than his mistakes, while he admires her strength and independence.

Hi i was wondering how you picture Moony? Is he just a giant wolf or is he like the movies version?

So my asks did a weird funny thing where it replied to a different ask instead of the one I had clicked on, but this is a brilliant question, so I have to give it a proper response:

I definetly don't see him as the movie version wolf, he's a bit too weirdly lanky for me? Kind of like a giant chihuahua dog (like that's literally what his head screams to me)?

And Moony is NOT a giant Chihuahua in my head, I love Cuarón but his Moony ain't it.

To me, Moony is more of a giant majestic wolf. I think I do mention Vixen, thinking he is as beautiful as Moony as he is as Remus, at least in the way you would appreciate a Husky or a Race Horse. Just a marvellous creature, maybe scary and can probably rip you to shreds, but not any less breathtaking than a tiger or a Lion...
