1. What book did you last finish? When was that?

I just finished The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater a couple of days ago. I wanted to read some of her other work, because I loved The Raven Cycle so much. I’ve since learned that The Raven Cycle is definitely her best work so far, because I couldn’t get more than a couple of pages into Lament and, while The Scorpio Races was evocative and had interesting characters, it had major pacing issues. It took 100 pages to get to where I was looking forward to picking it up. Similar to The Raven Boys, it took far too long for the main characters to meet. The plot could have been tightened by putting Puck’s house at risk of being taken away far earlier in the story. That being said, Maggie is wonderful at creating a mood and atmosphere with just a couple of inventive words and phrases, and she’s great at the slow burn love story.

5. Which book did you last re-read?

Well... The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater, lmao. I was planning on re-reading the whole series, but I stopped in the middle of The Dream Thieves because there are so many new books I want to read!

6. Which book was the last one you really, really loved?

This is weird because I haven’t finished it, but The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. I keep having to return it to the library because I get distracted, but I’m halfway through it. Her writing completely pulls you in to the story, the characters are so real it almost hurts, and I feel like I’m reading about someone’s actual life. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that the main character actually exists.

25. If you could be a character from a book for just one day who would you be and why? (Bonus: any specific day in the story?)

Harry Potter visiting Hogsmeade for the first time. I just want me some butterbeer and one of everything from Honeydukes.

So Lauren and I (it was Lauren's idea I just thought it was cool so I hopped on with her) made this new RP and if you like superheroes or controlling elements (sorta like Avatar), this RP is for you!! It's an original idea RP and we don't have many bios our right now but we do have a lot of pre-written ones ready to post if you want to request them. I just want this RP to work and for that to happen we need a group of dedicated people looking to have fun (plus SUPERHEROS AND LOTS OF PLOTS WE HAVE GREAT IDEAS FOR)
