So this Valentine's, Monika's official twitter (@lilmonix3) account posted this image along with two other valentine's day themed DDLC gorls

And i couldn't help but notice that both of them were holding letters

there’s something off about the way this is going. monika is usually at least somewhat quiet, preferring to listen to others when there’s idle chatter going on rather than throwing in her two cents all the time, but this is uncharacteristic. her mind seems to be elsewhere. usually she nods along, looks invested even though she’s not really saying anything. yuri knows because she’s always admired the club president. she watches her, tries to model herself after her.

so the shy girl fidgets with her hair, tries to work up the nerve to speak, tries to find the right words in the cacophony of her anxious mind. “m-monika... you haven’t touched your tea...”
