Thanks for fishing me out of the hiatus depths!

I hope everyone's had a happy holiday season and a refreshing start to the year. I bring to you a novel of an update, if you're interested to read on!

Where I’ve been

I am hanging in there~ I did get a few questions about what I've been up to, so I'll just be transparent for a little bit. Unfortunately for the latter half of last year my health has sorta fallen into shambles. It took a bunch of different doctor appointments and we haven’t quite figured it all out, but it seems I developed hormonal imbalances, a stress induced ulcer, and it must have done a number on my immune system because I think I counted 11 different and various infections in the past 3 months alone (hell I'm sick even as I'm typing this). All with the normal life stressors/taking care of my family. It's been a lot! And it took quite the toll on my mental health. Some of it is still ongoing, and I've always been pretty prone to health issues so I don't know if it'll ever truly be over. But I've been on treatments that have been helpful with some of it, I still have some procedures/tests upcoming, and I'm just going to keep trucking along best I can. 

I certainly needed that posting break! And I'm sure I'll eventually need to take more breaks in the future depending on how life goes. One thing I'll compliment myself on - I'm pretty good at being proactive about taking care of myself, so rest assured that if I'm posting again, it's not at the expense of my own health. 😊 I made the most of my hiatus and feel ready to come back and start creating more! I think at this point it will do me some good. 

I also do want to take a moment to focus on the happy moments I've had. I'm deeply grateful for my amazing partner who has been the best support I could ask for. And I don't know where I'd be without my wonderful friends who keep me sane. I even got to meet a couple of sizey friends in person for the first time ever recently and it was amazing! 

I never truly stopped creating, as much as I was taking it easy. Some of it is more personal, but some of it I’d be happy to share publicly. So without further ado, here's what's coming up project wise!

Creative plans

First off is something that has already posted, back at Halloween! It's another audio RP collab with Shardro where I provided the script. I love writing these for him, he's amazing at bringing them to life 😊

And then coming up very VERY soon I’ll be starting up Salt & Pepper again~ With another rather special installment before returning to the usual short and sweet stuff (I feel like it's been so long since I've done one of those, since I spent so much time on the Q&A!) The plan is to resume my every-other-week schedule, as much as I'm able.

I also had 2 big projects in my own life while I was gone that were sizey and I'd like to share. They're unlike anything I've made before, I just love exploring new mediums with size 🥰

Speaking of new mediums! Something else I've started working on is teaming up with @foreverlurk to help translate/create English subtitles for the recent French TV show Les Chapardeurs (The Borrowers) and for the Japanese 2004 Minami Kun no Koibito. I used to do translation work as part of my job, it's a bit of a dream come true to be able to now do it for a sizey project! No guarantees on the timing for this, we're both working on it just as we find the time so it'll probably take months. But they're both great G/t shows, and I'd love more people to be able to see them!

Next, something I haven't really talked about on Tumblr - during the break I spent some time revisiting my ongoing written series called Out of their Element. I haven't talked about it here because it contains some NSFW scenes and I'd like to keep this blog pretty SFW focused. But it's not just pure smut or anything, it's much more focused on its characters/story, so if you're 18+ and are interested in seeing my writing, it's currently on my DeviantArt. I'm also planning to post it to my Ao3 account next month, if you'd like to follow it in "real time" as I post it throughout the year. I haven't progressed in a while for various reason but am really hoping I might be able to finish the series by the end of the year. Wish me luck!!

And then the last thing I've worked on for Tumblr specifically... finally working on a Master Post! I'll put it up soon - a general one for all my projects and also a master list specifically for Salt & Pepper comics. This has been looming over me since I've started Tumblr so I feel happy to finally get that done.

And that's all I've got for now! I’d love to try out other things too, like recording some of the audio RP scripts I've written for myself, making more maxiatures to help me feel tiny, or finally learning how to use Procreate Dreams and dabble in animation… My list of aspirations is neverending 😋 But I'm going to take things slow, and I'm more dedicated to S+P and OotE right now. I will see where my inspiration takes me and what life has in store.

Tony didn’t know what the hell he had been doing when he had given the last rose to Bucky. For sure his brain had been melted down to a thick soupy puddle after the last couple of days being stuck around so many men who wanted him. It was a concept he couldn’t really wrap his head around. Not only had the last day been an exercise of  dancing around his feelings with Steve, trying to avoid having to spend any time with him alone, the grapevine had filled with the rumors that Steve and Stephen (God what even was his life anymore???) had almost gotten into a fist fight over their affections towards him. He had kind of expected this from Steve who had obviously not expected so much true competition when he was working hard to win Tony back, ( and did he even want Steve to try and win him back? ;The only time he had been this emotionally confused was when he had been dying of Palladium poisoning)

               When Tony had asked for more details from his only source of pseudo-information, Peter, he had just shrugged and told him that it had been over who cared for Tony more. It had been painfully obvious that Peter had been withholding the true reason for their fight, so instead of picking either of them, like he had planned previously, his hand had automatically moved towards the tall quiet man who had been looming to his right.

               There were audible gasps when everyone saw what he had been doing, but Tony didn’t pay attention to any of them, his eyes trained on Bucky. Maybe it was a simple act of pettiness towards Steve, showing him that he could be cruel too, choosing his best friend over himself, but Tony had a strong inkling that it wasn’t why he had given the rose to Bucky. When Bucky didn’t come forward to take the rose immediately, Tony’s mouth twitched to a smirk and he looked up at him (damn Bucky’s stupidly attractive wavy hair, damn his annoyingly attractive sharp features, his dreamy blue eyes and sigh stupid extra inches of height) and cleared his throat and  said “well what are you waiting for Buckaroo, a blinking flashing light that says “YES  I want to take you out on a date?” Bucky huffed out what could been a laugh, but nevertheless, he crossed the thin invisible line and came close to Tony and accepted the rose. His flesh arm shook scrupulously as he took the rose, his face carefully blank, but he wasn’t fooling Tony. His blue blue eyes were filled with surprise, intrigue and a bit of what looked like genuine joy and Tony had been in this game for far too long, he knew that Bucky wasn’t capable of faking any of those emotions.”I thought you would never ask” Bucky replied, his voice splayed with a hint of a Brooklyn accent.
