I could be mean and tell you Cyrus is days without sleep, that he got some drugs mixed into his drink to make him sleep. That he just went through a very bad time before having his little happy time.

Cyrus is just a bit sleepy because he didn't want to stop watching the little ants. He's drinking hot chocolate, in cozy blankets, though he has no idea where those two came from. He's on a little special happy time :)
As happy as one can be in his situation... I can't show him too happy, yk? Gotta save that for the recovery arc <3

It was with you I realized that my little comments and my excitement towards other people's work could be noticed and in a good way! It really shaped how I began interacting with many people I knew in this app. Thank you for your insanely good story that forced me to draw haha <3 it was such an important story for me, not only because it's truly good, but because it made me realize a lot of things about myself, helped me meeting so many great people through the fanarts, and allowed us to do our rp that is still one of my most fond memories! ➤ The Wither's Capsule
When not working or on break, the Wither is to be stored in its customised campaign capsule.
The capsule's outside is fully bulletproof and reinforced to withstand nearby explosions, fire, extreme temperatures, and fall impact. When closed, it is designed and properly tested to ensure the Wither's safety within it during all the above. The windows are made of fortified, one-way glass for outside visual supervision of the Wither.
When the safety is breeched or the capsule is under physical stress, the lights go from blue to yellow, then to red.
The capsule monitor may only be used with the assigned handler's supervision.
Only qualified and authorized staff members can touch the capsule. The guards are allowed to use all force necessary to intercept and detain any unauthorized attempt to touch or tamper the capsule.

The capsule's rest-rack is made of reinforced metal, but for health reasons, there is an added firm 10cm mattress (mattress firmness scale: 7) and a medium-firm 5cm attached pillow.
Compulsory: Collar (05), head restraint (07), upper arm restraint (08), chest restraint (09), wrist restraint (10), knee restraint (11), ankle restraint (12).

If there is a unmistakable chance of the Wither being taken by enemy forces or other protocol-recognized dangerous situation, the assigned handler is responsible for activating the self-destruction mode.
• The Wither's collar will inject the lethal dose into its vein. It causes near-instant loss of consciousness and muscle paralysis, decreases neural transmission to the cardiorespiratory system and administer general anesthesia.
• After 1 minute, the capsule will start to overheat, increasing 10°C every 1 second until it reaches 1,700°C. Once the designed temperature hits, the capsule will explode.
Observation: even if the collar's dose doesn't work, the capsule will self-destruct.

what conditions do the well-behaved UGs get? what qualifies as well-behaved???
About my answer on this ask!
It mostly depends on the handlers, truly. The "reward system" is up to them on the most part. We see it with Cyrus more often because he needs what they call enrichments to keep him sane, since his protocols are MUCH more strict than most.
Blue level, Green level and Yellow level UGs have work hours, time in communal space, some sleep together and so it goes. They have different routines than Cyrus.
For most part, the "lack of punishment" is what it's considered "better conditions" 😔. Not being tortured is a good enough "reward" for many.
But also, handlers may be more patient when you're injuried when you're a hard worker than if you try to "slack off" often, handlers may be quicker to take you to the hospital if you're good than if you "complain without reason" about pain, or handlers may be "kinder" with how many hygienic products (like the UGs who need hygienic underwear for their periods) you can use, and things like that.
UGs may have some special meals brought by handlers (like Wilson gives Cyrus something sweet on his birthday) here and there when the handlers wish. Some extra time under the sun, screen time, more communal time, pillow/blanket privileges, painkillers, things to entertain yourself with, etc.
Basically, weaponized basic decency ✨️ if your handler deems you "well-behaved", then you may earn some basic decency!! :D
And some UGs may have their colour changed. Like 04857, for being "well-behaved", is on the process of going from red-level to yellow-level, which means less strict rules. It's not super common but not super rare either.
And what does well-behaved means depends on the handlers! But overall, doing your work, don't talk back, don't slack off, be respectful, don't complain, etc, the basic whump stuff. Yeva makes 04857 kiss her shoe everytime she approaches them, for example. Handlers make up their own rule until a superior says "come on, stop", but the superiors usually don't care unless people are complaining too much about it or if they are getting administration issues from it.
