These Honey Lime Drumsticks are a perfect combination of sweet and savory, with a hint of smokiness from the grill. Ideal for a BBQ gathering or a casual weeknight dinner, these drumsticks are sure to be a hit with family and friends.
Ingredients: 8 chicken drumsticks. 1/4 cup honey. 3 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons lime juice. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish.
Instructions: In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to create the marinade. Place chicken drumsticks in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove drumsticks from the marinade and discard the used marinade. Place drumsticks on the preheated grill and cook for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 165F 74C and the drumsticks are golden brown and caramelized. While grilling, brush the drumsticks with the reserved marinade for extra flavor. Once done, remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving. Serve hot and enjoy your Honey Lime Drumsticks!
