The stars above sigh in disdain
At simple minds making wishes so vain.
As the world drifts to sleep,
There is one dream I keep,
That I'll soon lie beside you again.

"There Once Was A Lady From Venus,
Whose Body Was Shaped Like A--*"
🤯😯🤭
always the poet, never the muse
left with no love poems to peruse
just wrists to slit
and lights barely lit
in a bathroom with tiles chartreuse
Meow backwards is woem
Thus, I chose to write a poem.
With such eloquence,
My cats yell, and hence
They get food from their try to woe him
(This is a bad limerick on how my cats yell to try and make my dad feel bad enough for them that he feeds them-)
NaPoWriMo ~ Day 1
Flowing through the crevices within my mind Establish reality, which I survive; To fall or to thrive is A question of mine and Whose answer is lost in some ditch of my mind.
Black Ribbon
November 27, 2013 - in the spirit of today's "Doctor Free Day"
No white coats today, they say
Everyone dressed up like a mourning
while through the wards and hallways they went a-wandering
Black ribbons adorning their sleeves
just above the deltoid, waving like carbonized leaves
Opinions swirled and flown
Debates heated up, confrontations and words blown
in the last sighs of late November
Few seemed to keep their heads sober
Most were drunk with the old question, "Who's right and who's wrong?"
No voice asked "What needs to be done instead of singing the same old song?"
I came to notice I've grown jaded...
My own faith in voices had by then faded
As my curious eyes peeked into the clinic
For some folks up there, this still ain't a huge picnic
Scenario
Seven siblings live in a small town where everyone knows each other.
The oldest brother is an overachiever. He leads his way around like no other.
The second sister is the perseverant kind. She has to turn into reality whatever she has in mind. Otherwise she'll be crying behind.
Third sister has a sentimental heart. Her feelings pour down even when she's not practicing her art.
Fourth sister maintains a nice straight A. She says "I didn't study enough" but gets it anyway.
Fifth sister is trapped in procrastination. To get her into action, she needs some motivation.
Sixth brother is the carefree, easy-going sort. But once he does something, nothing can ever abort.
Seventh sister is just an average kid. She looks up to everyone, but she's got nothing to bid!
