He’ll take a nice quiche any day. Meat and cheese, all wrapped up in a flaky crust? Wonderful. He’s also fond of a decent hearty stew and a well cooked eft steak.

Nope, not at all. He can stick figures if you really push him, but it’s not something he’s ever really had the time or inclination to try and get good at. He figures it’s easier to leave it to the people who are actually artists; makes them feel appreciated and all that.

Lucas’s opinions are actually in a near-constant state of flux right now, determined primarily who the last person he’s spoken to at any given time, on many subjects. He’s undergoing a near-total morality realignment, and as a result he’s particularly malleable at the moment.

Something small that he’s conceding: Milk and sugar aren’t as bad in coffee as he previously insisted.

“My tribe was small- most keeper tribes are. We had.. maybe thirty of us? More when the men came home though that wasn’t very often and hardly ever at the same time. My grandmother was our matriarch and our mystic. She was wonderfully clever, I have good memories of listening to her tell stories in the evenings. I have the same mark on my forehead she had.
