I’m reading sword master and he really is so little brother core. Like he’s so shonen protagonist but the second he sees anyone ever he’s little brother. That’s little brother. That sword is too big for him and he can barely hold it. Look at my legendary hero dawg we’re fucked

Rant about Iron Fist latest story, ruining the lore established in Sword Master.

A while ago I showed my disappointment about Sword Master's story ending and his future as Iron Fist.

To explain why it bothered me so much, allow me to give an example of how it felt to read the story of Deadly Hands of K'un-Lun:

Imagine a new entry for The Legend of Zelda series.

In this tale Link, descendant of the hero of legends, obtains out of the blue the legendary Master Sword, which seems to have a personality of its own, like a spirit dwelling within.

He is then approached by a beautiful woman, possessing magical powers and capable of taking care of herself, princess Zelda, that explains to Link that he is the chosen one and with the Master Sword and the powers of the Seven Sages he is going to defeat Ganon, the Demon King.

Link goes on an adventure to find the sages and learn how to wield the MS, while accompanied by the princess and his best friend (who apparently will become one of the sages), while wondering where his missing uncle and sister are. Truly an epic tale.

Then, out of nowhere, Link loses his sword and falls into a river, lost to everyone.

Next time we see him, he is wearing green overalls and a cap with an L. Somehow, he ended up in the Mushroom Kingdom and has learned the secret technique of jumping into the head of his enemies.

Then Ganon obtains the Master Sword and uses it to obtain the Triforce, that for some reason was beneath Peach's Castle, not in Hyrule's. He also doesn't need the Sages nor any type of talisman or anything to unlock the Triforce.

Then Link, instead of gathering his allies, who are aware of what's happening and have the resources and powers to defeat the Demon King, gathers a couple of random heroes and confronts Ganon. Unfortunately he loses the first battle but fortunately he has a fire flower and defeats Ganon.

Then, again out of nowhere, King Dedede appears and takes the Master Sword, the Triforce and simply leaves. Ganon also escapes but now poses the power of fire flowers.

The end.

But what about the Sages? Didn't Link need it their power to defeat Ganon?

What about the Master Sword, Link's heritage? And the spirit within the sword? Are they lost forever?

And Link's uncle and sister? Where are they?

And is Link never going to use a sword ever again?

Also, one of the heroes (Aero but can't bother to find a simile) is suddenly changed into being part of a group that no one cares anymore (the inhumans) and basically ruins the character and her established lore.

And WHY was Dedede in the story at all??? It wasn't even explained what his deal was with Ganon??

And that's how it felt to read the latest story of Iron Fist.

Absurd, isn't it?

I'm very tired of feeling disappointed for comic books and the stupid reasoning done by the writers and the direction of the studio.
