i have to say im having a lot of fun with level 2 of lingo. i think it's way more fun than level 1 where i had to deal with getting lost WITH my navigation guide. it's also so much more fucking sadistic. ruining my goddamn life i swear. fucking "hi" well i guess i have two letters in the goddamn cipher. still havent gotten the alphabet one. the color mint is out to get me. yellow's apparently missing??? there's a whole egg themed room. i love level 2 it's so fun. the math room can go die. the answer to lotuses can go fuck itself. my head hurts every night because i insist on playing it from 10 pm to 5 am every day. i love this game
if you ever think what i say about lingo here is insane i need to tell you my dms with my friends have just been me asking them the most fucking hyperspecific questions. "what's an antonym for both practical and sharp" "if you take a part of a face and add some letters to it what country would that be?" "what's a word that has "sighs" in it as a sound but with something else in there? it's food related" "if brighthome is lighthouse what's sprinkledrip"
im never gonna be able to see the word wanderlust without thinking of 1234567890 from now on
hour 1 of lingo: ohhh i see i need a synonym for hi, that's cool :)
hour 10 of lingo: what does bread turn into through the passage of time
hour 20 of lingo: what's a chemistry-related component of a forest
Hey guys, do you use external stuff or something to help you in Lingo and/or any stuff based off of it?
And if so, what is your go-to external stuff (e.g. thesaurus, cipher encoding/decoding websites, etc.) that you use for that purpose?
(this is for the first question btw)
Yea, I do use some external stuff.
Nope.
I actually haven't heard of either Lingo or any stuff inspired by/based on it.

Sometimes giving recs to people on games is difficult when your taste is like...
I am eyeing a couple AAA PC ports of games I never played before, but setting aside the existence of third party launchers... some are poorly optimized for PC, online co-op is dead or mostly moved on to newer titles which are easily four times the price of the previous games, and others have issues thanks to said third party launchers somehow screwing with the games themselves.
On upside(?) I'm making myself angry playing Lingo in a similar way I got angry playing Antichamber. SuchArt I'm poking around to see if I can make some 3D art pieces I have in mind (and also amusing myself with a flamethrower). Tower Wizard is a funky different Clicker I tried some early build of a while back. Henchman Story is so far a solid VN, and one that's centered on a supervillain's minion as the MC (usually I see Fantasy, Modern/Urban, or SciFi but this isn't the first Superhero Setting VN I've seen at all or the most recent one I've played but more are always nice).
And honestly Slice of Sea is a game by a dev whose flashgames I adored way back when. Submachine, Daymare, "Where is (Year)", and I think a few other things whose names escape me this sec. Chef's kiss for Submachine because that was one of the best Escape Room flashgames I remember playing.
