more lu hcs that make no sense and no one asked for but you're getting anyway: singing addition (ordered best to worst)
Wild- Yes. His voice sounds like heaven. It makes even Legend happy. He sings, he hums, however he cannot play a singular instrument. "If this is e, this is f, and this is g, where's h?" type beat. He was in the youth choir at the church in castle town. (Has a very large register but I'd call him a countertenor if I had to give him one. He can go really low and really high. F1-C6)
Sky- Very musical. Was in a choir 100%. Excellent whistler too. Puts the birds themselves to shame (solid tenor. C4-C5)
Legend- Surprisingly not bad. One would think he couldn't sing but he can, pretty good actually. You'd have to hold a knife to his throat to get him too and, maybe even then, he'd probably just tell you to kill him bc it's never gonna happen (he, sky, and wild have definitely sing together if they were all drunk) (baritone. B2-G3)
Wind- he's not the best, he sounds a little rough, but like in the way that people who sing sea shanties sound rough. Good thing he only sings sea shanties I guess? "I will not stop belting haul away Joe at 3am you're all awake anyway" (somewhere between tenor and countertenor G3-A4)
Twilight- He can sing lullabies for babies but he would never sing to another link out of fear of ridicule. Hums the Malo mart theme and only the Malo mart theme. Knows no other songs. (Bass. E2-F3 bc I hc him with a deep voice, almost as low as Time's but not exactly)
Four- No. Just no. Only no. None of them can sing. Not a damn one. Poor guy. (If he could sing, he'd be a perfect alto. G3-E5)
Warriors- hahahahahahaha does the Hyrule anthem count? No? Ok then no. Like, he can sing happy birthday not insufferably. It isn't good, it isn't meh, but at least it doesn't make you wish you were Helen Keller. (If he could sing, he'd be a perfect tenor. C3-A4)
Time- Sometimes. If that makes sense? Like, if the song is simple enough. Malon's the vocally talented one. (Low bass. E1-F2 tho the F2 is kinda icky sounding it would sound good if he worked it out and practiced)
Good Night, My Angel
some wild and wind fluff for paws today (with a lil bit of wild and legend fluff at the end bc i also like to think their friends. but like friends how siblings are friends u know? they're at each other's throats (quite literally, actually) and then literally 20 seconds later they're exchanging memes on the couch while they watch anime)

Wild hummed, watching the flames flicker as the dark night faded to early morning. If he had to guess, it was somewhere around 3 am. He always took the first and last watch. He looked watching sunsets and rises. The sound of shuffling pulled him from his trance. He looked around the bushes first, a hand on the hilt of his sword. It shuffled again and he looked to the source of the noise.
Wind in his bedroll. He was kicking at the blankets, whimpering into his pillow.
Another nightmare, he sighed. Walking slowly to his side. He kneeled in the flattened grass next to him, placing a gentle hand on the side of his face. Wind flinched, but was otherwise welcoming to the touch. Wild slowly brushed his fingers through the silky blonde curls of his hair. Gently dragging his nails across his scalp.
Wind whimpered and Wild shushed him gently.
“It’s okay,” he whispered, voice low and quiet. It was unlikely anyone but Wind heard him, actually unlikely even Wind heard him.
Wind whimpered again.
Wild hummed the song he was singing before, still calmingly stroking his hair. In his mind, the blonde locks turned to soft red ones. He smiled softly, sucking in a deep breath before he sang slow and soothing,
“Good night, my angel, now it’s time to sleep, and still so many things I want to say,” he sang quietly, staring at Wind’s shut eyes, his eyelashes brushing up against the apples of his cheeks as they twitched.
“Remember all the songs I sang to you, as we went sailing on an emerald bay.” Wind’s fidgeting had mostly stopped, he tucked himself into Wild’s side, hands softly gripping at the fabric of his cloak.
“And like a boat on the ocean, I’m rocking you to sleep. The water’s dark and deep, inside this ancient heart, you’ll always be a part of me.” Wild hummed, looking up to where Legend had woken from his gentle singing. He watched him with intrigue. He held a finger up to his mouth, silently shushing him as he turned his attention back to the sleeping hero.
“Good night, my angel, now it’s time to dream, and dream how wonderful your life will be.” Legend laid back down on his bedroll, he still stared at Wild as if analyzing him.
“Someday your child may cry, and if you sing this lullaby, then in your heart there will always be a part of me.” He brushed the fallen hair out of Wind’s face.
“Someday we’ll all be gone, but lullabies go on and on. They never die, that’s how you and I will be.” As his song came to a close. He stood carefully, Wind’s hands slowly falling from his cloak and onto the grass.
“That’s some lullabye.” Legend whispered from his bedroll.
“Thanks,” Wild whispered back. “I sing it to kids back home. It works like a charm, as you can see.” Legend rolled his lips thin.
“You can talk.”
“Yes. But you should keep that between us. I won’t threaten you, but keep quiet, okay?” Legend nodded.
“Does anyone else?”
“Just Sky, as far as I know.”
Legend nodded. He rolled over, pulling the blanket over his shoulders.
They sat in silence until Legend huffed, rolling onto his back and looking Wild in the eyes.
“Would you, uh…” Wild perked up, his head tilted. “Could you…” He looked away, shutting his eyes.
“You want me to sing it again?” Legend nodded slowly.
Wild smirked, it didn’t hold anything malevolent. It was actually quite sweet. He slowly walked over, crouching next to Legend and burying his hand in his soft, pink, hair.
And started humming.
