#xiv heatwave festival#LINKchel#mião chaves#thancred waters#LINKchelcred#miãocred#jupi gpose#“isn't that dami?” i hear you say. and well... no! and... yes!#i haven't posted her here in a long while because i've been nervous to do so-- but loooong story shory:#dami is a system with three members who goes by “Chel” as a general name#and this here is Mião-- the closest “version” to the original Damião... who is... effectively dead.#and frankly-- the whole body is. she's a primal.#and thancred is her only tempered-- entirely by his own demand. otherwise Chel would dissipate. he's her lifeline.#and as a result of the many MANY mishaps that lead to Chel's existence#Mião doesn't feel as though she has the right to be her own person#having been with Damião her whole life and sorely missing him-- the person she would call her best friend... but who she can't understand.#she doesn't identify with what he's done-- she remembers most of it and the steps it took#but she can't identify his reasoning in the slightest. it's frustrating for her and her solution to it is to avoid being acknowledged.#and yet! she desperately wants to be. she loves the scions uniquely. she loves thancred specially. but she tries to bury it.#there's plenty of “firsts” for the two of them-- she wants her own distinct “first” but she feels ashamed of that. she's taken “enough.”#thankfully; thancred doesn't agree. he loves her as herself and he won't compromise on that.#i.
