Is it just me or is Levitt a lot like Atom back from early S1? I’ve been thinking about this for a while but 7x09 confirmed it for me. The way Levitt and Octavia acted so intimately reminded me a hell lot of Atom kissing Octavia in the butterfly field. And then it got me thinking:

Atom was told by Bellamy that Octavia is not to be touched by anyone -> Levitt was brought up to believe emotions are selfish

Atom follows Bellamy but broke his orders and was punished -> Levitt follows Anders but broke his orders and was relocated

Atom watched after Octavia -> Levitt constantly helps Octavia and her friends

Atom saw Octavia for who she is: “not crazy because your brother loves you” -> Levitt saw and knows Octavia’s “worst of me” / “best of you”

Atom quickly believed Octavia’s motives (building weapons) which differ from his orders (building the wall) -> Levitt grows selfish feelings for Octavia which differs from Bardo Belief

Atom confessed his feelings for her -> Levitt confesses his feelings for her (he sought her out with the intention)

Octavia pursues relationship with Atom -> Octavia pursues relationship with Levitt

Now, I know The 100 likes to do parallels and give Octavia the worst love history ever (Atom, Lincoln, Ilian), but I wouldn’t be surprised if Levitt’s “selfish emotions” for Octavia gets him killed. And I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a parallel to Atom’s Toxic Fog death with the Mysterious Bio-Weapon only level 11 and 12s have access to. Levitt might die accidentally or purposely (intending to sacrifice himself to save Octavia and/or her friends) and Octavia may not even be there which will then lead to Diyoza (Bellamy of this scenerio) to comfort Levitt in his dying moments, hearing out his last words meant for Octavia, and Echo (Clarke of this scenerio) to mercy kill him.

I really wouldn’t be surprised if shortly after Levitt dies, Octavia ends up getting together with Gabriel -> Atom died and Octavia got together shortly after with Lincoln. And Octavia x Gabriel (Gabtavia) end up canon endgame as a bittersweet parallel to Linktavia because we already know of all the parallels and Lincoln vibes Gabriel has shown and given us. After all, her romantic relationship with Jasper had no long lasting effect on her character -> her romantic relationship with Ilian had no long lasting effect on her character.

And yes, I’m still mad about Lincoln’s death.

I miss Lincoln and wanted him and Octavia to be happy, but I’m glad Ricky is enjoying his new show. I want him to be happy too.

Okteivia, please kill everyone next season.

Am I the only one who noticed?

Octavia killed pike and walked away all bad ass and cool. But didn’t they just say how their isn’t a way down cause the elevator is destroyed. Now I’m just picturing Octavia walking out of the room and just going, “Fuck, now I gotta climb down the side of a building.”

This week’s romantic moment takes a parallel look at the love stories between Lincoln and Octavia and Abby and Kane. May they meet again!

So since Lincoln's death made me feel physically ill (I didn't even watch it, my friend just told me about it) could we maybe see some happy linctavia in GAF AU? I know it's not till the future but I love Octavia in GAF au, they are so great and I can only imagine Lincoln is lovely as well and they just deserve happiness, the both of them.

‘do you want to dance?’ you ask. you have to lean down kind of close to octavia—whom you know from your early childhood developmental psych class—because it’s loud and nyko had dragged you to this party because apparently you’d been too quiet and serious lately, it’s not bad, really, you’re just busy with school and you like your peaceful space when the day is over.

but you’ve had a few beers and octavia is attractive—you’ve thought it for a while—and smart and fierce and honestly, you’d probably have tried to plan a date or something before this, but you’re kind of, maybe, a little bit intimidated.

which seems rational at this moment because octavia glares at you. glares. ‘lincoln?’

‘yeah,’ you say, scratch the back of your neck. ‘so, um. do you? want to dance, i mean?’

octavia glares for a moment longer and then leans closer to you, because it’s loud. ‘i’m not a girl.’

it’s not the most shocking information you’ve ever heard, because octavia is often fairly androgynous, in this entrancing, soft kind of way. ‘i wasn’t asking you to dance because i assumed you were a girl.’

‘oh,’ octavia says. ‘can you use they/them? i’m not a boy either.’

‘okay,’ you say. ‘sure.’

octavia nods. ‘do you still want to dance?’

you smile and they smile too and you take their hand. it’s small and a little callused and you dance, touch their body when they nod after you catch their eye. it’s loud and hot and when you ask, ‘do you want to get out of here?’ they say, ‘yeah,’ in a way that makes you really hope nyko isn’t home first.

when you get outside, into the cooler autumn air, octavia runs a hand through their hair and sighs. ‘i—um. this has been nice, really.’ you nod. they scuff the toe of their boot along the ground, hunch their shoulders a little bit. ‘i’m going to go home, though.’

‘that’s cool,’ you say, and you’re not even really too disappointed. they look up and you say, ‘do you want me to walk you?’

you get the sense that they’re kind of scrappy, that they could probably put up a fight, but they’re small and you’re both drunk and it’s late and dark. 

‘no funny business, i promise. you can call a friend and talk on the phone while we walk or something if you want.’

they let out a little sigh and look kind of touched. ‘no, no, that’s okay. we can walk. i’ll give you the tiniest benefit of the doubt, lincoln.’ you grin. ‘but i’m warning you, i carry a switchblade on my keys.’

‘i don’t doubt it,’ you say, and octavia laughs, which you realize, underneath the stars and in the chilly night air, you really love. 

you talk with them—a little drunkenly, a little more honestly and with more words than you’re used to—and soon enough, you’re at their dorm.

‘thanks for walking me, lincoln,’ they say. ‘and, you know, for the dance.’

you smile. ‘i don’t know if you prefer beautiful or handsome or something else, but you’re either. both?’

they laugh. ‘both is good.’

‘great,’ you say, and you’re unsure of what to really do, but octavia puts their hand on the back of your neck and leans forward, up on their tiptoes, to kiss the corner of your mouth.

‘see you in class,’ they say.

‘yeah.’ you take a deep breath and then smile, wave once more as you make sure they get inside safely. ‘see you.’
