Twinflower closeups
Twinflower Linnaea borealis Caprifoliaceae
Photograph taken on June 18, 2023, at Purdon Conservation Area, Lanark Highlands, Ontario, Canada.
Twinflower, Linnaea borealis, is known as a subshrub (aka dwarf shrub). This beautiful summer-blooming plant with delicate pink trumpet-shaped blooms lives close to the ground of dark forests. When it is not actively blooming, it is easy to overlook this perennial plant.
[Images Description: Stalked clusters of the same kind of delicate pink trumpet-shaped twinflowers rise above the forest floor, where olive colored moss intermingles with bright green oval leaves of the twinflower plant.]

Tattoo drawing for a friend. The Twinflower (Linnaea borealis) was Carl Linnaeus’s favorite plant, so he named it after himself.
Linnaea Borealis (or the Twin Flower) in Finnish by birth, but has spent a lot of time in India from a young age, living in several different areas with her father, so she’s really at home with the multitude of cultures and languages there.
My little twin flower is for @avtvmnsalad. She looks a bit lilac-y in the pictures to me, but should be pinker in game. You’re welcome to tweak her colours a bit if she’s more lilac to your eyes because apparently I SUCK at making pastel sims, who knew.
Linn is slider free, and uses only this hair. She should be on my default berry skin so use whichever you have :)
