The lore and meaning of Agito's Icon Painting in the intro of the show

The upper part of the painting shows the creator of the world, Teos (Also known as Overlord of Darkness), his 7 archangels (The El Lords), and the Malakh (Lords/Unknown). Teos created the world, then created the Els, then created the Malakh. Using the Malakh as model, Teos created animals, and using himself as the model, he created humans. The world would then become a paradise.

As time passed, the humans increase in numbers and fill the earth. As the humans are based on Teos, they started to think that they are superior to the angels, and the humans start to eat and enslave animals & also they had the ability to surpass the Els and Mal'akhs. The Mal'akhs were enraged by this, and proposed to Teos that they will not bow down to the humans and will kill them all, but Teos decline but the angels attacked them anyway. This created a 40 years long war, with 200 million Mal'akhs vs 200 million humans.

In the middle part of the painting, the war between Malakh and humans have started with the Malakh overwhelming the humans. One of the 7 Els, the El of Fire, Promes, sympathized with the humans and betrayed the Els. He fell in love with a female human, and they both have a child, Nephilim(s) called Gills. Nephilim inherited the brutal nature of the Els, and started to attack both humans & animals. It posed a great threat to both the Mal'akhs and humans. Teos would make up his mind and declared war against defectors. The war then continue with Gills leading the human side.

The war ended with the Mal'akhs winning. In his dying breath, Promes give his power to the humans, which would someday change them into Agito. The Els, in an attempt to kill all humans, Promes' children, and the animals that followed the humans, create a large flood that cover the world for 40 days. Saddened by all the deaths, Teos created an Ark so that some humans and animals can survive. The Els then asked Teos why he saved the humans, especially since they have been soiled by Promes' power. Teos replied that the Els have committed a sin by disobeying Teos, and Teos himself have committed a sin by not hearing the Els out at first which result in the war between angels and humans. Teos asked the Els to do another clean up next time when the world was populated again. Teos then sealed himself and all of the angels, which would be around the Pleistocene era.

The last part of the painting show the aftermath of the war with the humans walking from the ark. The red and blue warriors in this part is Agito (maybe even Kuuga) and G3. Agito is there as the human who inherited Promes' power and is red here because Promes is the El of Fire, and the power from him is the power of fire. Some said that Flame is supposedly Agito's original default form, but as humans live surrounded by earth and were made by earth themselves, Ground become the default form. G3 holding a weapon symbolize that humans will be able to create weapons and fight for themselves. This part can also mean that someday humans and Agito will live in peace. The left and right side with the corpses of the Els, maybe meaning in the end all angels end up dying, like at the end of Agito. I guess around that time, the Lords reawaken to help the Lynt tribe fight off the Gurongi and help create Kuuga.

There is also some differences with the painting that appeared in Decade. The one in Decade only have 3 Els, with one of them being the El of Fire who died the same way. G3 also appears above Agito rather than below Agito, as in Decade. The Agito in this version of painting also have greenish yellow color as this Agito is both Gills and Agito. The last difference is that the humans and Agito walking on top of a cloud rather than a road. It could be theorized that at the end of Agito, Teos have finally forgiven and let go of humans, letting the humans' future to be decided for themselves, but in the Decade version, the future is uncertain as the battle has only just started. Also the name for the overlord was apparently taken from an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh of the 30th Dynasty of the same name.
