Beloved October, I believe what Carter/we saw at his house were very different things than what you saw. If that was even you… we saw a very spooky and rather savage fox. I think that’s what has your human friend so scared of you.

Ok so first off.. I never went to Carter's home.. Secondly, Carter is, sadly, a man who is easily startled, to say what exactly he is afraid of is a rather long list.. You mortals do fear many different things and various times so who's to say what it could have been that has him so shaken up. I wouldnt doubt if what he saw was just Spook, he does have that presence about him.. And Carter is already nervous of him anyway so.. this does not help me understand at all.
