He was.. conflicted when he had discovered his life was made to entertain, to say the least he was tired, angry, and desperate to know why? His vision of victory blurry and his dreams swept underneath him; he fell again. He had only started to hear some faint whispers in his head a mere minutes after his realisations; and that made him weary, tired and angry: what was that? Is that the one that made him this way? What were they saying? He started to listen, focus on the noise, focus on their voice; and gods he would grow to love that voice. Their sweet honey voice so soft it sounded like a purr..“hopefully i saved up enough..-”..but for what? And where? “-..For him.” He saw black, his world has blurred but this time he was not falling; he witnessed the scene that made him understand: “You have acquired Red Velvet cookie!” his mind turned blank as he read the small pop up and saw the angelic person behind the voice, wide eyes that turned into a happy grin as their entire face smiled; they looked so happy! And was that for him? “Finally he came home! I still have 7 10-pulls left too.. I will save those for the next cookie, now.. I need to max him out!-”

His life since then has been ecstasy. He was now in your kingdom, roaming around, his own cookie house, his own very decorated corner full of cake decor that pastry cookie has always hated: he loved hearing you say that you wished you had a cake ‘puppy’, he would have loved to have his chiffon and your puppy have playdates, anything to spend time with this silky soft voice...and the person behind it: but could he ever do that? The thought dragged him through hell and back, stacking up all his dreams and pulling them off like a bandaid: but he knew one day you would save him from this prison! But until then he will soak up all your attention from here. You tapped on him over and over again, gushing over him and your luck; he has never felt so wanted in his life. It shocked him when you said you wished he could be happy and not on dark enchantress’ side but..anything for you..! He would daydream about the things you would’ve said, how he was sure you preferred him and loved him more than pastry cookie, how you wanted to take care of the cakes and make them a little home in your kingdom ; he was sure you would say these! You were the one that freed him from being in the tower for eternity, you must have been his destiny. Enchantress cookie could not have done anything! She never had any power to defy and her ‘destiny’ was nothing more than scripts. You on the other hand..you saved him! You saved his cracked heart from insanity that would break him had you not saved up for him that day..he has to pay you back, he felt that in his heart, maybe he could… escape? Over time, Red would listen to you talk about a lot of things; “i wish i could just pull him out of this screen and give him a hug!” “the real world may be a pain but at least i have my favourite sweetheart, huh?” and how you would praise him, oh how you praised him. “Red velvet has always been my number one! Not only do i love the flavor, but the character is so cute, i wish i could hug that giant arm..looks so soft, somehow..” He would blush and act out of character upon tapping, and he loved how you giggled, feeling giddy as you tapped and put him in his favourite attractions. you would compliment his looks and say how fluffy his hair looked, all the while tapping him, he would always follow your eye sight, following your cursor. You would spoil him so much! You even drew him sometimes, he wished he could see it..you kept talking about how the cake arm looked so huggable and fun to draw.. oh how that made him cry and crumble tears of joy; you were his salvation. His biggest honor is how since the day you had pulled him, you have always had him on your team: except levels that had cake hounds. And how it made his velvet heart swell, he could crumble and crack with the weight that has for him. And he would still listen as you said you did not want these poor things to die, he would cry sometimes when you had not logged in for days but he has found a solution! He would sleep it off once he farmed and got things done for you. And maybe one day..he would wake up besides you? Maybe one day..soon?

He would collect things he knew you liked- gems and toppings! ♡ You would tap on him a whole lot, you have done that ever since you first got him! he still remembers that day.. His head was hurting, was he finally getting out of that pit to be pulled out of? Looking at the person in front of him, he felt happy- “Oh my gOD!- it’s happening, i got em’!-” after all, you were waiting for him like how he waited for you too! ♡ You headed for the building catalogue head on and got him his cute little raft, he had so much fun digging out treasure for you- You would always praise him and even say ‘thank you’ sometimes! ♡ he wanted to be real so badly! You were like a parent who was his best friend! He wanted to find you, before the rest could!- ♡ You were..very stunned to have a kid hugging you and calling you family when you came back from cleaning the dining room, it was a shock for sure but at least you can laugh about it now! ♡ How he got there may be a mystery but he enjoys his life with you! Being real in your world is worth everything he had to do, and he has zero regrets now that he can explore this new world with his favourite friend and his family; you! He can always make new friends! ♡ if one of the cookies or anyone else caught a crush on you then..they will have to adopt this kid too, no out’s or if’s on that one, sorbet will make sure they treat you right!

¸.•*’ ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･Self aware Dark Choco cookie x chubby fem reader HCs ♡ ♡ It was, dark, cold, and disturbing being stuck where none can see, but he could wait! He did not deserve the kindness before his friends, after all..but the day he said that, he was out so fast! Maybe for once luck was on his side? As always, another day spent cold in the pit of this gacha machinery, but then he felt pulled, and he surfaced to see: you have obtained choco cookie! Behind the flashy colours was someone so cute, and so happy to see him, practically squealing you said “i got him!-”..was he worth that much joy? He was not used to that but maybe it won’t be unbearable. ♡ He was pampered from day one, having his own home, his decor, his favourites being written into the kingdom. He was not used to the attention but..he could manage, a deep buried part of him was in hope that he could feel whole again, but he buried the thought as always. Though soon..he would not settle for that again. He wanted this cute girl’s love all to himself! ♡ Tap tap tap, you would gush over him, but you were so gentle..”i wish he could love himself”..”i wish i could love myself”, he was astonished over the shocking similarities; He did not think someone like you could drag themselves so harshly, someone so considerate, someone so kind. You would soon talk more to him; “i wish he was not stuck with the dark enchantress cookie..” oh how he wished that too. ♡ Soon he would find himself listening to you about anything and everything, he found peace in listening to you, it was comforting to know something in his ‘life’ was real, it disturbed him how the pain he has been through was to entertain. He wanted a way out there, and it seems you wanted him too. ♡ He, once again, was no magician; god it was such a pain to get around being noticed, and how to explain it to you once he was out of the screen; but it worked out: now you two live together and work in the bakery for a friend! It took him a lot to get used to it, kind of bizarre how everything he had known for a life was such a small part in yours, but it also meant he could ask you about everything and anything as an excuse to ‘understand your world’ and that worked for him! Go figure, still shy as ever. His mom’s cackling knowing she won a bet against cocoa , it’s great. ♡ He LOVES to hold you, and you love to hold him too; it’s your way of reassuring each other, thankfully you are more vocal about your insecurities, it helped him open up and you two helped each other to gain some small good habits over time! In the meantime though, he wants to lie on your chest and say how you are so soft to hold, how much he loves feeling the chubby stomach as you two spoon, cuddling to sleep. ♡ He is so good at comforting when you are in a funk because he is so clingy and will literally sleep clinging to you. the type of love that makes you feel like a goddess; you could be half asleep on a monday morning and he be snuggling into the crook of your neck and muttering ily's! it's so cute.. ♡ You do the same for him! everytime you two take a bath together you wash his back but you always kiss the scars he has before shampoo-ing his body, and afterwards when you two rinse off. you make him feel so wanted..! ♡ He brags, so,so much about you, with his one buddy; “she looked so cute when i gave her those tickets to the cinema at the festival-” “i love how she looked in that spring dress, do you know anywhere that i can get something like that for her?”; they’re bro’s your honour, and thank god that friend is so supportive! He always tells Choco about things he could do and how to get used to this and that, so now he can make surprise things for his cute gf! ♡ Speaking of love, his confession was so cute! It was at the bakery during you two’s break, you were both pinning but you wanted him to get confident and ask you out! That is where your friend, owner of the bakery, helped him out with it; He asked you out, and when you said yes he put a necklace around your neck. A heart locket with the carvings “my sweet tooth” , then he pulled on his shirt and apron to show he had a matching one underneath too! Who would’ve guessed someone so distant could be so cute?

♡ His ‘real’ name is Steph in your world, started out because you went with it on a whim when your friend asked about it: he actually found himself to be fond of the name, it’s easy to say without stuttering.

♡ He also goes out a lot with you! Mostly because he’s scared he will be too awkward and mess things up if you aren’t around, but even after he gets used to being real as a human, he enjoys going to new places with you. It’s calming to go to a colourful district and take photos, sit on the 2nd floor of a cafe and look at the scenery, feed the cats and take some random trinkets; get matching clothes. Any chance he gets to call you adorable; he will take. Started out with linking pinkies, now holding hands and speeding around the place looking for something new with you..he has no regrets leaving all he knew behind. This is where he belonged. ♡ Waking up one year after he first appeared was a lot, he looked at the ceiling then at you; proud of his most severe decision to find you. He celebrated the day by taking you to a small photoshoot, then have a picnic, get some matching charms and pins, eat something sweet, dance out on the grass..he loved being able to laugh like this, and he loved you so much more. Another day with you as the man he has always wished he could be, was a dream come true.

He had become accustomed to your schedule and everyday he wished he could be just a bit closer, maybe close enough to touch your hands against one another: but he was scared of the possibility you would not have liked him if he were there..after all, he did not belong.  A part of him had a hunch he was not the only one, he saw how licorice and dark chocoa had their eyes on you, looking into the sky: how pastry cookie would worship the temple’s more often; regardless of day. And he hated how he might be right about that hunch; so he seeked the old, half destroyed books of ruined libraries and tombs. He was no magician, so this task could blow up on him but he worked day and night in his very luxurious corner you made for him, crying over missing pages and scavenging books from the academies warehouses..he had finally gotten what he needed; even though it was very risky it was most certainly worth it to be home.  As his shaky hands put up the final preparations , he took a breather and wished upon his dreams: to be with you! The risks scared the jam out of him, to be stuck where he came from..but it was worth it; This was his only chance before others sought after you too..! Taking a final look at the dreaded scenery of the sky above, he started to chant; his vision blurred but he did not stop the words, to complete the lines and to finish the verses. Then he fell; unconscious. He felt.soft, he didn’t remember being so soft, and dough being so thin..is he where he thinks he is? Or is he just dreaming..? he was..a bit too tired to find out, his eye lids felt too heavy and he was so warm, he could stay there for a bit longer…wait..something smells tasty?  The sun rising and the smell of new food made him shake around where he was, but what he heard next made his heart jump and hit his brain.Soft as silk, sweet as honey; “I don’t know how, but he looked cold and hungry...” hearing you talking so close to him made him wake up so frantically, he rubbed his eye lids, cleaning off the waterline; as he woke up he realised his eyes felt different and so did his dough..? He tried to talk but it just came out as muttering, and that seemed to get attention from who was right there with him; “shh, don’t panic; the food is not going anywhere~!” he felt a bit embarrassed and just a tad called out by his heart knowing it was not the food he got so excited about, but that was okay! He tried to sit up properly, leaning to the headboards he let out a sigh he did not realise he was holding. He felt some cold and wet tissue wiping his face, so gently compared to how he was desperately trying to wake up; feeling the hand stop and cup one of his cheeks, he felt so happy over the attention and care; but your touch was his top priority. Or so he thought..grumbling of his stomach made him feel shy in front of you, looking down at his hands to avoid eye contact..and yet another confirmation that it worked: his hands looked human, slender, long fingers, thumbs, joints. The only remnant of his cake arm is the swirls in a darker tone across his arm and hands. As he watched you put the tray of food on his lap, telling him to eat, he talked to you for the first time since he got here:  “do you know my name?” “Well, if i am not going crazy, then you must be velvet: Red velvet, right..?”  He took a breather and looked up at the beauty in front of him; tense and scared of many things.“Yes, that would be me..you are not going insane.-” he grumbled awkwardly, to which you were still surprised by despite being sure of it. you asked him “..how? And why?- and don’t be scared, I-i am not angry! I won’t kick you out.” you spoke, quickly, stuttering at some places, but that was all he needed. He looked at you for confirmation as he took a slice of bread with chocolate, nomming on the tasty treat. He slowly ate and as he let out yet another shaky sigh , he felt the weight of his actions on his shoulders. He picked up after you, his breath shook him to the core as he talked; “Can i explain everything with time..? But the short story is that i..realised, that my life was scripted, and the only part that was actually natural was you so..i escape, t-to live with you.-” his chest hurt with the tension he held in the soul. “-I know it’s confusing but please, i will do my best and i will- i will-” his breathing hitched as he tried to reason with himself. As your hand held him gently like marble plates, you made him look at you in the eyes, softly whispering “it’s okay, we will cross that bridge when we get to it, please, breath slowly, honey.” your voice was aetherial, softly spoken. He did as you asked him to, slowly calming down: he felt tears at the corners of his eyes but he just giggled..”i did not think you would be so good with stress..not this kind anyway.” he joked to himself, outloud. You joined him on it though, seeing him relax, you replied “i had all day to prepare myself emotionally, it actually took a lot to convince myself i was not going crazy!” you laughed as you said the final part, which made him smile. “You should eat before everything gets cold, hm?” you reminded him, and he felt a bit flustered on your teasing tone but more-so you holding the fork and offering to feed him the breakfast you put together.You looked so happy as you held one hand underneath the fork incase anything dripped down. ‘There goes my reputation ..-’ he thought, but he really didn’t care about it that much since..’-i have wanted to do this for so long..!’ He opened his mouth just enough and let out a ‘nom’ noise as he took a bite, as the morning went on and you fed him his meal, he was so glad to be truly home. Soon enough he has eaten enough, and you took the tray to put everything in the machine. You looked back at him and said “feel free to wander around!” as you were getting up and heading out the room to the kitchen. He sure would, he has waited long enough to see the real world. First things first, he opened the blinds and looked through the window, the sun and the scenery, he loved the thought of gazing up at it with you. And so he started to look around your room, there were some pictures with your friends; you looked so happy. Some ..books? Seems to be sketchbooks, he skimmed through the shelves, there were some art supplies. A memory book, and some..enchanting, magic books? Did your world have magic too? He was sure to ask about that later.  And so he looked at your desk, where you had a mirror, and he looked at himself for the first time; his face was human, and his ‘odd’ eye was still there, his hair despite being messier was still the same. He was glad to be recognisable enough, but not too much. As he was lost in thoughts looking through nook and crannies he heard a notification noise from your phone; he checked the source. “Text from nebula: hey, i think someone just hopped into this realm, to your HOUSE specificaly. Are you ok?”...yeah, that would be something to explain. ...But for now he put down the phone and went out of your room to follow, he was looking forward to living with you, living together, loving forever..he still has to confess but he will cross that bridge when he gets to it, hm?
