These actors were chosen based on remote appearance to their respective characters, but largely for their acting ability. Before criticizing my choices, be aware other types of manipulating and preparation would go into each actor/actresses role. For example, Kate Dennings may need to gain weight or work with the makeup department to achieve Alyssa’s body type. Other actors may also undergo transformations. My main focus is on the performers craft and skill, as well as selecting people who could interpret their parts and be well suited for them (in some cases allowing them to flex their range).
