“What’s your favourite animal?” Oropher asked the elleth from where he sat on the floor, hunched over his book. “Mine is the bunny. But I also like squirrels and robins too...”

“Can you help me braid my hair?” The little elf pouted up at the elleth, holding some of his silver curls in his hand. “I keep making it tangly...”

“Ow!” Oropher cried out as he tripped over his own foot, hitting the floor with a loud thud. He sniffed, rubbing his leg and looking up at Beleg with tearful eyes. “I hurt my knee...”
