Thanks for the tag lol I'm going to share a snippet from the Ch. 7 of Just Like Fire:

Sanji swung his leg out and his heel smacked into the base of the enormous tree in front of him. Hours ago, he searched the island for the largest tree he could find. Once he stumbled upon it, he kicked it with all his might.  He barely made a dent in the bark. Since that first kick, Sanji had attacked the tree trunk over and over. The sun passed over him. It sank into the horizon. Fireflies floated around him and owls hooted from their perches. But still, Sanji released kick after kick into the base of the tree.  Pain screamed through his leg muscles. His thighs, calves, even his bones begged for a rest. But he ignored it; biting clean through the filter of his cigarette as he grit his teeth against the urge to stop.

Origins of your blog's name: it's a lyric from the song Mukhtasar from Teri Meri Kahaani, and it just seems very apt even now.

My "I'll always order this food": tofu bai krapao, or stir-fried thai basil tofu.

Overused emoji: it's not one of the usual ones, someone made it for discord but it's between a crying emoji with hands thrown up in the air, or an emoji with flames behind it a la the hellfire Elmo.

Current comfort movie, show and book: the 1997 Cinderella (always), The Great British Bake Off and spin offs thereof, and any of the Narnia books.

My last hyperfixation: Final Fantasy XIV.

Oddly specific thing that brings me joy: being able to sit on my own (doom) scrolling messages on discord.
