Thank you so much to the amazing Amanda Lafrenais for this Jenalightyear portrait! I am so happy with it. <3
gawd
Last year or so I commissioned Amanda Lafrenais for some small card commissions, I remember inquiring about them a few months later and was assured I was on the list, but I don’t remember which platform I used to do that?
She just recently finished a batch and I haven’t gotten anything, but I can’t even find proof I ordered anything to inquire about it :|
Best I have is a note I left on DA saying I ordered them...
You asked, and here’s our answer--GALPALENDAR 2016, for friends, “friends”, and frenemies, from the team that brought you MANCALENDAR 2015. Featuring an incredible assortment of the women of webcomics, and the talents of:
Ariel Ries (Witchy) Kathleen Jacques (Band vs. Band) Allison Shabet (Dead Winter) Amanda Lafrenais (Love Me Nice) Amy King (The Muse Mentor) Cami Woodruff (Doomsday, My Dear) G.C. Houle (H&J) Kate Ashwin (Widdershins) Lily Hoyda (Bad Reputation) Miranda Chamberlain (Riverside Extras) Robin Hoelzemann (Curia Regis) Rosa Lee Marnie (Mythos)
The deadline for preorders is October 30th, so what are you waiting for? BUY BUY BUY!
So on a whim I decided to go back through my archive to my earliest posts, and it’s hilarious how far I’ve come, and yet I still feel like I’ve barely changed and that 2011 was only yesterday. I started using Tumblr because I had discovered some amazing webcomic artists who used Tumblr, and I had rediscovered my love of drawing. littlefroggies was the first blog I ever followed, and I even got to meet her and superhappy at a convention. Despite how embarrassing the past can be, I think a look back is needed every once in a while. Also, for better or worse, Tumblr has helped me grow in many important ways and helped me connect with many amazing people.
Just a reminder that Manga Camera is the best for taking photos of pets
