#28 Littlecloud

a very small, brown tabby tom. He has bright blue eyes, a light brown tail, and a brown nose.

Did Littlecloud not qualify for -stone? I’m not complaining, I’m just surprised! I figured he would’ve been a shoe-in, given how intuitively he picked up on signs and dreams even BEFORE he was apprenticed to Fognose. (I also thought it would’ve been funny if he was given -stone, to juxtapose his canon suffix (“stones” being associated with the earth, and “clouds” with the sky)).

This is just a case of us keeping a name as it is in canon. I'll say that in-universe, Littlecloud was just below qualifying for -stone in his own eyes. His mentor was generous enough that he would have given it to him, but Littlecloud is a humble guy and insisted he be given -cloud instead. Plus, he still feels like he's a little tainted by his warrior training (incredibly brief though it was), so he didn't want to sully -stone like that.
