The pic on the far right was the original concept for this piece more or less. . . Idk I couldn’t get it to work. I think I was inspired subconsciously by like, cat noir, how he’ll sit on his staff with ladybug sometimes.

Anyways since going into the show I knew Macaque would eventually end up an ally, I think was potentially softening his early season 1 and 2 animosity and actions.

For the interdimensional shadowpeach au,what if MRK Macaque found his way to LMK and started flirting with Wukong? How would that go?

Fuckton of degradation as flirting from Mihou's part (I'm sorry I keep calling him Mihou, I'm just too lazy to type out MKR Macaque every time he's mentioned lol)

If you like toxic yaoi, this is for you—because reiterating from before, Mihou's disgusted by LMK Wukong because LMK Wukong killed Macaque—a fate Mihou's doomed to confront and face. So definitely, Mihou's flirting would be full of vitriol

For this AU, I really don't see Mihou flirting with LMK Wukong because that's the guy who will kill his future self, but for the sake of the ask, here you go!

Their flirting is borderline hateful, with an underlying grief‌

Mihou would find LMK Wukong by himself behind the waterfall, because while that's Wukong at his strongest since he doesn't have to worry about holding back for the sake of other people, that's also Wukong at his weakest. Too many thoughts, everything left unsaid, Mihou would dig into that and rip it out while twirling Wukong's feather headpiece with a grin‌

Mihou would start by provoking him, he'll say anything that would get under LMK Wukong's skin‌

"Still chasing ghosts, Great Sage?"

"You'd know something about that, wouldn't you?"‌

It's a back and forth between snarling at each other and not wanting to pull away‌

Mihou would block his way with a sly smile, and Wukong would sidestep. Mihou would keep blocking his way and continue to instigate, so when Wukong finally has had enough, he'd grab Mihou's arms and shove him against the cave walls‌

Which is a really cute image btw considering in this AU, MKR Wukong and Mihou are taller than LMK Wukong and Macaque by a foot‌

Wukong snarls at Mihou to shut up, but Mihou keeps talking anyway. Wukong isn't immune to Mihou's flirting—he never is even if the flirting is just... degradation dressed up with a grin and a well-timed tail flick—so Wukong does what anyone else in this situation would do...‌
