I watched the live orchestral showing of How To Train Your Dragon the other night and I have to say, it was such an amazing experience.
I’ve seen the first HTTYD dozens of times before. But, watching it with a live soundtrack made me feel like I was watching it for the first time again. To see a piece of my childhood be reignited in such a moving way was utterly magical. I don’t know what it was, but the music made it so much more moving.
If anyone ever gets the chance to watch a film with a live orchestral, HTTYD or not, I’d highly recommend it.
Live orchestra session by a therian!
This orchestra session is premiering on YouTube on Thursday, September 5th at 6:30 PM EST. This is from the live session last week and will be one of three music videos from the performance. This is the first orchestral recording by a therian/otherkin/alterhuman. And it is delightful to watch the players up close. Here's a sneak peek:
Starlight Telepath is coming :3
My gf and I went to the opera for Valentine's Day and it was AN EXPERIENCE. First part, a woman threatens to k* herself BC her scorned lover ( which we aren't even sure truly exists) leaves (or left?) her. (The whole performance is their "final" phone call)
Second part, a dude in a hotdog costume sings about his fav condiments, Elvis appears to officiate a wedding and a man makes out sloppy style with a fish (and MANY other wacky things). Complete whiplash, but it was a pretty fun evening ^^
The crowd has spoken and we got the live orchestra intro to Power! Merci pour vos comments!
