Floral Arranging Class at the Home Market MKE

On a whim we decided to sign up for the Home Market’s floral arranging workshop last weekend – and we’re so happy we did! Our friend Eunice came into town for the event and we had a blast sipping pretty cocktails while playing with gorgeous blooms. While it was fun, I think we both realized the florist career is not in our future! **Added bonus: Eunice won the raffle and took home the gorgeous arrangement of garden roses & dahlias!

Lizzibeth Birthday Bash Recap

On Saturday night we attended Lizzibeth’s 2nd Anniversary Party at Whiskey Bar, and we had an absolute blast!  From the signature cocktail to the shopping, every detail was perfectly planned.

We started off the night snapping photos in front of the back drop with Monique.  What can we say, we do it for the insta.  Then we did a little shopping.  We’re actually amazed we didn’t do more damage considering all the options.  But we each went home with a new top to add to our closets (such good finds).  Then we capped the evening with a fun fashion show!

Weekend Getaways

We’re feeling all the **hands up emoji** vibes right now because it’s finally Saturday!  We were having one of those weeks where it felt like the weekend was never going to get here.  Probably because it was our first full week back after our makeshift spring break.

At least we have a lot to look forward to today!  We’re both going to be in Milwaukee for Lizzibeth’s 2nd Anniversary Party at Whiskey Bar.  We know we’ve mentioned traveling between Chicago and Milwaukee before, so we figured it was time for a post.  It’s seriously convenient to be able to hop on the train for a weekend getaway.  But all of that back and forth means a seemingly never-ending cycle of packing and unpacking.  It gets tiring, to say the least.

We’ve been making trips from Chicago to Milwaukee (and vice-versa) for about six years now.  So we’ve perfected the art of looking chic while staying comfy.  When you’re on the train, even if it’s just for an hour and a half, you want to be able to relax.  That’s why we opt for joggers or leggings with an oversized button down.  Pair those pieces with some slip on sneakers, a scarf, and an easy pair of studs and you’re good to go.  And of course, you can’t forget a weekender!
