i think?? well, firstly, i think it depends on her mood?  lkjasdf good mood = yes, bad mood = no

like, when chris sr. was still alive, i think one of the driving factors behind them having children was to please him? plus they were so young and so IN LOVE *gag* that she was probably in that mushy gushy stage still so she was all happy and excited about it? 

and in the book, when corrine is pregnant with cory and carrie, and she tells cathy and chris jr, that seems like shes pretty happy but terrified and disgusted at the idea of more than twins lkjasdf.

One day Christopher and I came speeding home from school with the wintery wind blowing us through the front door. “Take off your boots in the foyer,” Momma called out from the living room, where I could see her sitting before the fireplace knitting a little white sweater fit for a doll to wear. I thought it was a Christmas gift for me, for one of my dolls.

so, that suggests that 1. corrine is happy enough to knit clothes for the kids when she could have EASILY just charged them like they did with pretty much everything else lkjasdf and 2. that, at least at some point, she’s shown enough attention and love for cathy that she would knit clothes for her dolls? 

take this little conversation between cathy, chris jr, and corrine for a small example. (also, for context, she was knitting a white sweater for the babies directly before this conversation takes place!)

“Momma, are you feeling all right?” he asked.“Yes, of course,” she answered, giving him a soft, sweet smile.“You look tired to me.”She laid aside the tiny sweater. “I visited my doctor today,” she said, leaning forward to caress Christopher’s rosy cold cheek.“Momma!” he cried, taking alarm. “Are you sick?” She chuckled softly, then ran her long, slim fingers through his tousled blond curls. “Christopher Dollanganger, you know better than that. I’ve seen you looking at me with suspicious thoughts in your head.” She caught his hand, and one of mine, and placed them both on her bulging middle.”Do you feel anything?” she asked, that secret, pleased look on her face again.Quickly, Christopher snatched his hand away as his face turned blood-red. But I left my hand where it was, wondering, waiting.”What do you feel, Cathy?”Beneath my hand, under her clothes, something weird was going on. Little faint movements quivered her flesh. I lifted my head and stared up in her face, and to this day, I can still recall how lovely she looked, like a Raphael madonna. ”Momma, your lunch is moving around, or else you have gas.” Laughter made her blue eyes sparkle, and she told me to guess again.Her voice was sweet and concerned as she told us her news. “Darlings, I’m going to have a baby in early May. In fact when I visited my doctor today, he said he heard two heartbeats. So that means I am going to have twins … or, God forbid, triplets.

, to me, shows a few things. 1. she’s knitting sweaters, and she seems happy? but not overly excited? i think she was fine with having multiple kids, so long as chris sr. will be there to help take care of them, and cathy as well. 2. her actions with chris and cathy, they’re motherly (but also disturbing with chris lkajsdf) 3. it shows, in that little tidbit, that chris is her favorite and he can pretty much do no wrong in her eyes. she’s more active with him, touchier, and seems to speak directly to him more than to cathy. chris has more of her attention, and more of her love.

cathy, once she decided that she didn’t hate the twins, loved the twins and would race home to help take care of them. which im sure was an enormous relief to corrine because she had that help, and she also didn’t have to do too much on her own and take away from her own time. basically, i think, that once chris sr. is out of the picture, her love for chris jr. grows and becomes even more of this uncomfortable kind of relationship (especially as he ages and looks more like chris sr.) (a relationship just like chris sr. with cathy, or just like corrine with malcom, all fucked up and wrong and damaged) and, that once she realized that without chris sr. it wasn’t the SAME, they reminded her too much of him, she couldn’t do it without him, she wanted to put herself first before the kids, etc etc, it made it that much easier for her to lock them away to go back to the wealthy, high society life style she had before. but i also think that chris jr remained in her heart not just because he reminded her of chris sr, but because he always made her not feel guilty about it, like cathy and the twins did. he always stuck up for her, even when she was BEING THE BIGGEST UNWORTHY BITCH OF ALL TIME and??? i think the entire family, going back before she left foxworth and married chris sr, is so fucked up that?? that she somehow thought keeping chris jr. around was like, a connection to chris sr?? idk but lkjasdf 

i also don’t really think she would have wanted kids with bart, if she could have had them without her father’s will stating against it. she might have had them to please bart and keep him around, but i think she would have been massivly disassociated from them, and only ‘care’ when she has to put on airs that shes a good, loving mother.

ALSO

if chris sr wouldnt have died i full on think corrine would have went on being as good of a mother as she was before he died and not turned into the complete shitshow she was afterwards so lkjasdf

arackniss is the scary, intimidating uncle the kids are kinda afraid of but then he just silently passes them a twenty and suddenly everything is okay.

She also fraudulently altered a pharmacy record. Wilson helped him get time to find the tick that was hiding in that poor girls flaps. I think Cuddy enables him more overall tbh, Wilson tends to have like actual moral dilemmas while Cuddy only has like. Legal ones.
