LMK The new past AU: Masterpost

Summary: After getting in the Pillar of Heaven, the cycle end and MK cannot go back home. With the help of Nuwa and the color stone, he was send to the next cycle so he could live a new life without the burden of being the harbinger of chaos. MK, now fully a mystic monkey, arrived in this new cycle at the time of Journey to the West, but he have no idea at what point of the book he is! Is it during the pilgrimage? or way before?? he don't know for now, but he will soon know.

LMK The New past AU: Meihua meeting Pigsy and Tang all images description have the dialogue in it if you're struggling to read my writting✨

This is set in the future/present! MK is a regular at Pigsy's, and he finally decided to bring Meihua! She had to get glamour to disguise too, but to not risk it of breaking, the glamour is just to hid her visible fur and monkey nose. Her tail is hidden in her dress and the bandana hide her ears and hold the glamour together😌 She feels bad for liking Pigsy's noodle more than her brother noodles, but MK don't mind at all, in fact he agrees! Pigsy's noodles are just superior✨

TOOK SO LONG TO FINISH BUT THIS ARC IS DONE!! I do not plan to draw this meeting with the royal guards, but another comic will include one🫵

Macaque knew MK lied, but did not expect the reason why he lied. and Ooooooh MK finally tell macaque his family is related to the pilgrims!! tbf, MK wasn't sure if in this cycle it was gonna be the same or not, so he prefer not to share this info. But now that he saw the Monk was identical to Mr.Tang, he's pretty sure it's gonna be the same for the others. Ying design and character were made by my close friend @sdentii!! thank you again for creating a character for my AU!! I will share her design ref and the one of Haoran in another post, I kind reached the limit of images with this update lol

Anyways, i 𝘈𝘋𝘖𝘙𝘌 your AU!!! The art is amazing, the story is awesome, and this is the first au I've seen that shows how MK is feeling in detail and acknowledges how it's impacted him. It's written so well!!!!

So i have a few things to ask,

1. How did Wukong and Macaque react to SpicyNoodles being together, or do they even know?

2. Is Meihua (i really hope I spelled that right) immortal as well? Or does she just have the extended life span of a mystic monkey?

3. Are we allowed to draw fan art for the AU??

the collab is still open yes! but my motivation to draw the art for participants hasn't been there for more than 2 week😭 love the selective art block👍/s So for people who participated and still haven't got their small art, you will get it🫵! even it's taking a while, I do plan to do one for everyone who participated. just be patient✨

So recently I read a spicynoodles proposal story by @britt-kageryuu for her au and I just wanna ask. Are you planning on making a spicynoodles proposal comic after this one? If not how much of the story do you have completed in your head? And who proposes to who?

maybe one day yes! either a comic or written with some art to go with it (I don't see them as being married, but engaged✨) And I have a lot planned already planned in my head and written down! just drawing them take a long time especially when my motivation to draw comic keep leaving me😭 First I wanna do some more comics before getting to events that happened after JTTW, which included spicynoodles getting together Since its gonna be done in a while(the comics), I can tell you this: Red son is the one who courtnapped MK; But MK is the one who proposed to Red😌✨
