You know what I think,redson and macaque Redemption Arc are not well written

It still kinda annoying how the show holds wukong in higher expectations then the rest of the cast,he always has to be better and always has to prove that,other characters not really call out like he does in the show writing

I think macaque takes focused away from characters that actually need more development and need to get Flushed out more,I don't care for macaque story line in s6,he doesn't deserve such a focused and focused season,sandy,pigsy,tang,Mei deserve it, more in my opinion.

It not like the show will ever fully addressed macaque flaws,I doubt the writers will ever do that in s6,addressed his flaws and bad behavior and all.

It shocking how easy the li Jing use the circlet to torture wukong throughout s5 and no body get the same type of punishment,macaque doesn't even get any but wukong goes through it,even by his own student,why does he get punishment for something he didn't do,while macaque doesn't even get any for the crime he committed in the show.

I know mk mean well when using the circlet on wukong to stop him from killing himself to stop mk but still.

Questions to people on this on Tumblr do you think mk needs to get call out more in the writing for his own behavior and actions (like s5 for example)

To this day I am still feel like macaque reading the book journey to the West to understand wukong,was very cheap and laughable,I still get a little annoyed thinking about it,I wish they explored it without putting "read the book" stuff,like for one they could have mk and macaque experience wukong memories without him reading the book,him slowly understanding sun wukong that way.

The self reflection he goes through about his relationship could have been in the show a little,so we can see the development on screen,they could have easily have self reflection on his own actions with his relationship with wukong.

Because he use wukong as a justified to hurt mk,that seem more exciting and creative then what we got.

It nice that he understand wukong but it should have been handle better.

Lmk themes is about not having your past defined you,then why is wukong character defined by his past villains each season?,even in s5 the snake is connected to wukong past or what used to be their past.

I still hate how wukong get written like a idiot at times,especially when in s4 it was use to uplift mk.
