DO YOU THINK NINE HEADED DEMON(DISGUISED AS ONE OF THE KINGS) WORKED WITH WUKONG WHEN MK WAS BORN. Think about it Wukong getting told save the unborn thing in this rock by one of the ten kings give it a chance to live bring it to the best place you know(the home of a former friend). The flashback of Wukong standing, anticipating waiting for it to open. Wukong denying he knew to Macaque— why would he reveal he’s worked alongside a king of hell to ensure MKs safety

Hm, that's not impossible! I don't know if it structurally makes sense to have that reveal in s6, unless it was tied into an explanation of like...why Wukong became a mentor in the first place/how MK made it to Pigsy's/even what happened with the Pilgrims and why they're here now (which is something that Wukong never answered after Macaque asked).

Tbqh, I'm unsure if 5x01 is Wukong lying, or if it's meant to be taken at face Value, you know. He could totally be telling the truth in that scene!

There are also a few other details I'm curious about, like the eye of MK's monkey statue being cracked, or even the area around the birth stone being all...ravaged.

Currently, I kinda feel like it's the end of the s3 special and I don't have much to work with when it comes to predictions, you know. There are a lot of different directions everything could go! I also think in general, it's less obvious what MK's arc will be next season.

Watching some clips from LMK season 5 and just now realised that when Macaque 'seperates' Nine from the chaos, Nine says "I will not let you take this from HIM [MK]". Like… huh!?!

My brain always auto-completed the sentence and I heard "[…] take this from ME" because that‘s the usual shtick. But LMK villains keep on just being built different 💅

I love hate them all. They make me sick.

OH YEAH. Nine is so interesting, I'm so ready for more of him!

Like, Nine wanted more for MK than the sacrifice. He gave MK the life he has (which is the sort of role I thought was going to go to Wukong, but nevertheless I am so glad it's here). I desperately need to know more of what is up with that guy. His relationship with Nuwa reminds me of both Macaque and Azure's respecitve dynamics with Wukong. The whole "I still came back! I'm done trying to be the hero" thing proves to me that compared to our previous antagonists, Nine is done trying to fix the world. He doesn't think it can be saved, he just wants to be free—him and whatevers left. Which makes sense, considering he's antithical to Nuwa and used Azure, you know. Like his goal was just "make it to the chaos", and I want to know what's there for him. What brought meaning to him out there.
