ok no one told me this, so just so everyone else knows:

Cinderella’s Castle has hella puppets. it has incredible puppets. holy fuck does this show have puppets.

i love puppets so much and these puppets are so good. like, these are some phenomenal puppets i dont know how to cope. I’m going to be drawing these characters until i die, this is it for me.

actually one of my favorite changes in the guy who didnt like musicals reprise has nothing to do with the production itself and everything to do with the audience

for the most part reactions are similar, laughing at jokes, cheering at characters. y’know. normal stuff.

at the end, when paul comes back out, after emma had been told he’s dead

in the 2018 proshot, you can hear the audience get excited, people loudly gasping.

in the new version? they already know.

I’m so used to hearing a reaction at that part, i didnt even realise i was waiting for it. and it doesnt come.

it’s hauntingly silent.
