Parental Issues Comfort from Shouto Todoroki

Todoroki: I’m going to start this off simply. Parents aren’t shit. Blood isn’t shit. Just because you are related to them by blood, it doesn’t mean you have to love them. Not saying you should entirely throw out your relationship with them. If they just made a mistake, don’t throw them to the side as if it was done with malicious intent. However, if your parent is acting maliciously toward while be concious of what they’re doing, you don’t have to love them. Either tolerate them until you can move out, or cut ties. It’ll be better to do that than to make yourself suffer because someone says they deserve your love because they’re blood.
