Local Landscape Areas are recognized regions of land and water that are considered to have high values in terms of their landscapes. The outlines of a landscape's landforms and any visible evidence of the geological processes that produced them—also known as the landscape's geomorphological and geological characteristics, respectively—can be used to define the landscape.

Tons upon tons of seeds drying from crafting this weeks #PawpawJam has us thinking a lot about our #trulylocal commitment. 🌎 Though the #pawpaw is North America’s largest indigenous fruit, it seems like so many of the folks we talk to have never even seen or tried one, let alone picked one up and put it in their pocket! 😂 It’s by no fault of ours that this #local treat has been left off the #locallandscape, but it can our opportunity to change that. ✊ We’ll be including a small packet of seeds with each Pawpaw Jam purchase for everyone to plant as they wish.
