A place with many childhood memories. I used to visit Chinatown every Sunday morning with my parents and always looked forward to the weekly family outings. Now, I go there for the food - most of the good ones have retired, but there is a particular quiet corner of the hawker centre where many traditional stalls still quietly (no, they don’t need stars) operate that I fancy. And it’s rather fun watching the elderly men play Chinese chess on the ground level.
