LOFT SYMBOLISM THAT NOBODY ASKED FOR! SPOILERS FOR ROGERS PART!!!

Ralph symbolizes democracy and government. He is elected leader of the boys, and tries to maintain the standards of civilized society.

Jack symbolizes the end of order n democracy

Piggy symbolizes logic, intellect, and the values of civilization. He represents the rational and scientific side of humanity, contrasting with the growing savagery on the island. His intellectual abilities and reliance on reason are ultimately undermined and destroyed as the boys succumb to their primal instincts (the thing about them going savage is literally in the books summary so not many spoilers here.)

Simon's character symbolizes natural human goodness and saintliness. He is often compared to Christ, representing the innate good that exists within humanity. Simon's character contrasts sharply with the other boys' descent into savagery and demonstrates a deep understanding of the darkness within them !!!

Sam and Eric, often referred to as Samneric, symbolize the duality of human nature, representing both the potential for good and the fragility of societal structures. They initially embody loyalty and unity, but are ultimately overtaken by the savagery of the others, demonstrating how easily even well-intentioned individuals can be swayed by fear and conformity!! :3

I think Roger symbolizes evil??? Cuz he like.. bullies the littluns n kills piggy + tortured samneric
