In January 1819, Captain William Hodgson steered the three-masted merchant ship "Transit" from Bristol down the River Avon, beginning a six-month voyage to the Mediterranean. Here are some of his incredible illustrations.

Bugust 2025 Day 15: Fan Character Friday [Meetup at Moving Home] 8.15.25
Done in 38 minutes
Greetings from- well, I haven't quite decided on what I'd like to call my dimension. I get to name it, correct? I was technically the one who discovered it.. or would that be my muse? I suppose I could name it after him! Enough of my ramblings.
I, Stanford Filbrick Pines, hope to build a device capable of opening up my dimension to others! Recently, my research has hit a rather slow point.. I attempted to reach out to a trusted friend, but it seems he's too busy caring for an infant and his business. He'll come to regret his decision once I show off my portal technology and post my findings relating to Gravity Falls!
Against my muses wishes, I decided to reach out to you! Well, not exactly you, but anyone who ends up finding this signal (This radio is rather impressive! I scavenged the parts from an alien ship)! If you have any advice on inter-dimensional travel or even information on how to build a better communication system (mine is not the most reliable), please respond! I can provide moth facts in return for any information or even just a delightful chat!

Lisseth Chavez being the cutest human 🥺🩶
im getting addicted to nicotine on purpose. will update if i notice anything worth mentioning
DAY 1:
bought the vape. tried it. i hate the smell
DAY 2:
used ethanol and nicotine. no special effects, despite earlier experience with cigarettes seemingly having synergistic effects (maybe that was placebo)
DAY 3: (current day)
getting used to the smell. is actually kinda like a drinkable yoghurt i like? but bad
been using tiny bit every day, cautious not to get nicotine poisoning again cause that sucks and i get it easily (am i hypersensitive or is it like this for everyone?) (got it from patch, then borrowed vape)
generally the effect is so small. like maybe a tiny spike of nice effect at first? after that just like weird uncomfy feeling fades over 1-2 hours. i really dont like the effect. i hope i notice addiction soon cause i dont have motivation to continue otherwise
im just going to a window or door to blow the aerosol out the house when i exhale. dont want the smell in here (dislike it and mom could notice)
i actually prefer the plant burning smell of cigarettes kinda. wood burning smell or chemically smell would be even better, and no smell best
i wanna investigate other drug synergies
i wish this caused vasodilation instead of vasoconstriction. this is uncomfy
anyway I DON'T ENDORSE NICOTINE USAGE. IT'S NOT WORTH IT. UNHEALTHY AND BARELY ENJOYABLE
my starter house 💯🔥🔥📣
Log 3 - Dover Demon
Apologies for the lack of logs, I’ve been busy. The Dover Demon was given a variety of raw meats. Results were as follows:
Mutton: Hates it. Assuming because there are no wild sheep in Ohio.
Bear: …how was this obtained. Regardless, the Dover Demon loved it. There isn’t much of it, note to self: ask Intern Gecko to get more on their weekly shopping trip, along with extremely durable dog chew toys.
Beef: The Dover Demon also seemed to enjoy beef, but its digestive system did not. It appeared to have an intolerance of sorts seeing as no allergic reaction occurred.
Shrimp: The Dover Demon seemed to be put off by the smell and refused to eat it.
Crab: The Dover Demon also was put off by the smell and refused to eat it.
Pork: The Dover Demon was alright with the pork, but it didn’t seem to be its favorite.
The Guild log book has been updated!
Log book notes written by Vulpes leader: "The Vulpes documentation has been updated. It should now have all of the different subspecies colors and flags. Each flag is now labeled and should connect back to the Vulpes subspecies they are connected to.. I also added the base legend for the Vulpes species, although its looking a bit dry without any art so I will need to find something for it when I get a second. The text has also been adjusted a little to hopefully read a bit better."
(see full logbook for more info, there are two secrets if you can find them.)
