PSXcelsior Logo Concept
Last Modified: 22/09/2025 (TODAY)
This is a logo concept for a fictional emulator that really is a 100% PS1 sideblog I'm planning on creating. It will mostly focus on personally ripped graphics from the games through jPSXdec (special thanks to m35!) heavily influenced by @systemst91 's @psxexe blog, kinda like a "fork" of that "emulator" (with a tint of inspiration from a few other PSX blogs). It will expand into more than just ripped graphics over time with GIFs, videos and soundtrack support. :P
The lowercase e in the logo is a reference to the first letter of my real name. The codename Poincare is a reference to the previously considered name for Gordon Freeman (Half-Life) Dyson Poincare, making it a sideblog of a sideblog. :P
Anyway, the blog will act as a permanent substitute for the #psxrip tag, as I really had no intention of posting them here, since I wouldn't like to divide you all from HL-related reblogs (although there will occasionally be PSX stuff from others, like GIFs, videos and pics :P).
I will probably start the blog next week for the 30th anniversary of the console's launch in Europe. :D Yeah, I know it sounds quite ambitious, but I've got to begin the legacy of my decades long devotion to the console on my own somehow. :P
Ayyy we got some work in progress redesigns for some characters in Comix Chaos
Designs for a new Comix Chaos logo
Poster concept for the Chaos Club
Danny Gemian, the dysfunctional Diamond that wants to kill, art bc why not
Made a logo concept for an upcoming AU-type comic.
Fellas need your opinion >:D
I’m continuing my uni grind 💪
My task is to design a logo for Chief Custom Construction company (this is a real company I believe, but this is not a legit order, just a task for practice)
I designed a mascot (the silly in question👇)
I sketched a lot of logo options and narrowed it down to 3
And now I have no idea which one to choose 💥
The requirements for logo were:
has to revolve around chief’s head
has to incorporate a circular saw blade
(I still have to do what my prof says, but I wanna know what ppl think >:D)
Which version you like the most?
1. In construction helmet
2. Very simple one
3. The one with text
Wanna tell my opinion in the comments 👀
Bear answer (bears only, shoo)
If Nickelodeon Movies did a Summer variant of their 2000 logo
So, in honor of the 25th anniversary of "Snow Day", I had this idea for a logo Nickelodeon Movies could've done long ago.
In the "Snow Day" version of the Nickelodeon Movies logo, we see a man shoveling snow in front of his house, until a giant snowball logo crushes the house like a wrecking ball. The snow sheds off revealing the Nickelodeon logo.
Later that year, Nickelodeon Movies made a second version of the logo for "The Rugrats Movie 2: Rugrats in Paris". In that movie's version of the Nickelodeon Movies logo, we see a Parisian man raking autumn leaves in front of his house until the Nickelodeon logo crushes it. On top of that, the music used in the logo is the same, but this time done on an accordion to give it that French vibe.
If there was ever a Nickelodeon theatrical movie (not counting anything related to "SpongeBob SquarePants") that took place on a beach or some tropical paradise, I imagined that the opening logo would show a man shoveling sand in front of his beach house or building a sand castle. One way the Nickelodeon logo would appear is if the logo crushed his house. Or if the sand castle was built as tall as a house, the Nickelodeon logo would crush the sand castle instead. As far as the reused opening music, maybe it can be played on a ukulele or an acoustic guitar or even an electric guitar. Just something that would make the music sound beach-like.
