Although Lois Moran (March 1, 1901-July 13, 1990) had a brief film career from 1924-1931, she earned her fame through her affair with F. Scott Fitzgerald. The "Rosemary" character in Fitzgerald's Tender Is the Night is based on Moran.
Lois Moran's most successful role was that of the daughter in Stella Dallas (1925).
