“You idiot! You absolute moron! Do you have any idea what you’ve done Loki! You’ve signed my death certificate, you absolute oaf!” You yell at the now shocked god, his smug grin had disappeared from sight just as quick as he had plastered it on his face. That grin morphed into pure anger.
“I did you a favor, you insufferable little demon!” The vein along his forehead was protruding, throbbing against his pale skin angrily. That almost made you smile, that you could get under his skin so easily. Though your anger overridden everything at the moment.
“You might as well have killed me again! Now, because their tracker won’t be coming back with an update of any kind, they’ll send the hunters. Hell! They’ll send the damn hellhounds to bring me back, with or without a head!” Putting your hands over your face, you begin to massage your temples and keep the boiling rage and fear at bay.
Fuck, you were screwed. You knew the council was keeping tabs on you, you were an Avenger for crying out loud. It was dangerous to have a vampire surrounded by so many humans, especially one that was masquerading as a hero.
They wanted to be sure you hadn’t exposed them to the government, which was bullshit considering a lot of vampires had ties to Hydra’s little club in exchange for easier access to food. What Loki had just done was basically telling the council you had something to hide. This was giving you a headache. Killing the newborn was a test of your skill, but the tracker was meant to see the brutal show and follow behind you to see the outcome. At least you assumed that’s what they wanted. Now you had a trip to make before the news got back about their prized tracker.
Both Loki and Tony watched as the crease between your eyes slowly smoothed out, relaxing into a calm and composed face. The men watched with concern as you took a small flip phone out of one of your pockets and got rid of its packaging, inserting a small chip into its side panel. Several moments later while typing on the phone, Loki looks at Tony and arches an eyebrow in question.
“What is she doing?” The god questions, confused by the scene before him.
“It’s called texting, Shakespeare, get with the times you’re worse than Cap,” Tony quips back at Loki without taking a look at him, his focus was completely on you at the moment. He ignores the glare that Loki is giving him and watches as you stop texting and take out the sim card, wrapping it in what looks like a water-proof bag.
“I have to go, don’t follow me or you’ll mess everything up and get me permanently killed if I don’t pull this off just right,” you say while pulling your hair into a ponytail.
“What are you going to do?” Tony questioned, curious as well.
“Something stupid, definitely reckless. Maybe a tad bit suicidal,” You shrug the tension from your shoulders, rolling and effectively cracking your neck. Both men look at you as if you’d grown a second head.
“I’m headed to New Orleans, Tony, stay put please. Fragile humans and creatures of the night don’t mix well. Gets a little too messy for me, personally. Loki, fuck off. You’ve done enough damage for two lifetimes, I don’t need you screwing up my arrangement with the council,” Huffing slightly, you see Loki rolling his eyes while Tony is just watching you. There’s nothing more that can be done except get to New Orleans, and quickly.
“Okay Tones, I need a favor,” You say, grinning widely at the man.
“If I agree, is it a similar concept to fae agreements where I have to carefully word my sentences?”
“Uh, no. That’s not even remotely in the same realm Tony, but you can ask your questions on the way” You say with an exasperated sigh. Walking away from the bloodbath that Loki had created you turn towards the mangled body and sigh. You needed to feed again soon, you were starting to feel cranky.
“Loki, I need a body bag. Summon one please,” Gritting out the last word as it left a bitter taste on your tongue. Loki merely grinned and did as you asked but also managed to magic the vampire’s body into the bag without any mess and handed it to you.
“Uh, thanks,” Was all you could say as you grabbed the bag and walked away with Tony to his car that was conveniently waiting at the edge of the port.
Tony was insufferable. The number of questions he was asking bordered on infinite. For every three questions he asked, he had six more to follow up my answer. He really was dissecting you at this point. You knew he had questions but at this point it would have been easier to sit in a lab and let him cut you open with how invasive his line of questioning became. You thought he was done when he was silent for several minutes, seemingly focused on the road in front of him. Waiting patiently for whatever question awaited you was nearly torture, but he didn’t keep you hanging forever.
“So, how exactly did you become, well, a vampire?” His voice quieted to a whisper on “vampire” as if it was dangerous to say too loudly. You really didn’t know what to say in response but you figured he was owed the truth.
“I helped the wrong person escape a local witch hunt. I had helped several women escape the burning pires and was attempting to help Loki run before they captured him. He had been injured by something and I’m not too sure of the particulars, however, he led them to my doorstep which resulted in being hunted down.” Taking an unnecessary breath to steady my racing thoughts I continued. “I ran, of course, but I wouldn’t leave him behind. I took a sword through the heart saving him and he couldn’t be bothered to give me a proper burial. An older reclusive vampire took pity on me and turned me. I wish he would have left me dead.”
Tony stared at me out of the corner of his eye, “You don’t mean that, you’ve done so much good here y/n.”
This time you were quiet. Surely Tony understood how you felt, you had seen him after the wormhole incident in New York. You knew he could feel the perpetual clock ticking. Everything after felt like borrowed time. Something stolen from the universe that you were punished for taking ever since you took your first reborn steps. It felt as though you could never do enough, be enough, for the second chance you were given.
“You know, Tony, I’m not even mad about him bringing the fight to my doorstep. I knew what I was signing up for when I began helping those people escape certain death. I’m upset that he didn't ensure I was dead. I’m glad that I’ve been able to help people, I just wish it wasn’t like this,” the words sit heavily in the air as Tony thinks about the information he has been given.
“For what it's worth, y/n, I’m glad you’re here. No matter how it happened or what you became in the process. You being a vampire has saved enough lives to negate any “bad“ traits you have,” He says softly, yet firm to ensure I didn’t argue with him. Nothing he could say would change the way you felt considering you had more than one lifetime to justify your feelings. The rest of the drive is silent, which you’re thankful for considering you couldn’t give Tony every answer to the questions he asked due to the laws that governed your kind.
Tony was driving you to his private plane, which of course came with a thousand more questions about how you were able to withstand the sun and if it was dangerous for you to be closer to the sun despite the metal can you’d be in. It did some good reminding him that you’d been on missions during the day which included flying to those destinations. Sometimes he could be a real bonehead.
“Alright, this is me. If I need a rescue, I won’t call. Just know that if anyone suspects you know the truth, you lie good enough to pass a polygraph otherwise you’ll be in deep shit,” you warn him, hoping he has sense enough to listen.
“Peanut,” he sighs in exasperation, “Be careful, get through this and come home. Plane will stay ready for you just in case.”
Grinning like a mad-man, you hug the father-like figure and let go just as quickly. Stepping onto the plane you get all set for take-off, not bothering to put on the seatbelt. Leaning back, you exhale a short, calming breath as you hear someone clear their throat. Opening an eye to see the fallen god sitting across from your seat, you sit up and glare.
“Did you think that you wouldn’t have backup, darling?” Loki grins smugly.

Request: I’m A Monster Pt 2
Since your little accident, you weren’t allowed on another mission till you got better control over your cravings and anger.
Loki didn’t like it at all. He didn’t like the idea of people on purpose trying to piss you off just for you to try to contain yourself. He didn’t see the point and when he saw one of the Avengers try it, he’d take you away, calm you down and glare at the others.
It took a while, but the Avengers eventually realised that they had misread your behaviour. You hadn’t gotten mad, you had gotten protective over the demigod who you had grown attached to. However they had still not found out that since the incident, you and Loki had gotten into a relationship.
Neither of you wanted them to find out. If they found out, you worried they’d be angry at you, and Loki didn’t want them to know, knowing Thor would tease him and might go and tell Odin about it, which could land him in more trouble for loving a mortal. But honestly neither of you cared for what they would think. However, the avengers now knew your weaknesses, and determined to get you back in action, they decided to test you again.
Loki had been dragged away by Thor for something or other, leaving you in the main room. Having you alone was part of the plan.
Honestly, Natasha, Steve and Bruce didn’t want to make you angry. Nat was a close friend, Bruce knew that you could lash out like him and lose control, and Steve… Steve just doesn’t want to. However they knew if you didn’t gain better control over your vampire instincts soon, you could have another accident and they had no proper way to bring you out of that state yet. So they set the one person to the challenge who they knew could do it…
Tony.
“Hey Y/N.” Tony greeted you, coming and sitting opposite you. Steve and Natasha stood nearby just in case, pretending to be minding their own business. Bruce just didn’t want to be there and Clint was in training.
“Hey Tony.” You responded simply, keeping your eyes on the book that Loki had recommended to you.
“Has… Loki told you?” Tony asked you quietly. You looked up at him confused, and honestly worried.
“Told me what?” You asked him. Steve and Nat both had a bad feeling that he was going to do something really drastic. A threat would be good enough, but they have a feeling he was taking it to a new level.
“Odin wants him back on Asguard.” Tony told you. You stared at him, waiting for him to laugh and tell you he was joking, but he only sipped his coffee.
“Tony tell me you’re joking.” You begged. Tony shook his head and you couldn’t stop yourself from standing up and started to pace. “How long for?” You asked him.
“Permanently. I don’t want him in my tower.” Tony told you. You turned him, your fists clenched.
“This is your idea?” You asked him, anger quickly rising in your voice. Tony nodded smugly. “What-why- what did he do!?” You asked him. Tony shrugged.
“I don’t like that he’s getting close to you. He’s gonna use you.” Tony told you. Not a second later, everyone heard Tony getting thrown through the a wall, you being the source with your eyes empty of humanity.
“HE ISN’T USING ME! HOW DARE YOU JUDGE HIM BUT GIVE ME EVERY SECOND CHANCE NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE I HURT OR KILL ON ACCIDENT!?” You yelled at him.
“Y/N, calm down!” Natasha ordered while Steve moved to restrain you, but your strength was greater than his as you threw him off you. By now, everyone had ran into the room, including Loki.
“Loki, little help please!” Tony begged.
“Oh now you want his help!?” You yelled at him, approaching Tony again. Loki, however, had other plans.
He teleported behind you, grabbing you and turning you to him before kissing you. You were tense, but when your senses came back to reality, you relaxed, and Loki ended the kiss, and just held you closed. “It’s alright, I’m here.” He told you.
It was like the anger just melted away at it touch and you went from a threat to an upset mess in Loki’s arms.
“Wait, are you dating?” Bruce asked quietly from the back at the scene. Both of you didn’t answer, which gave them their answer, and Thor bellowed in laughter.
“That’s adorable!” He commented, but got a glare from Loki.
“I’d threaten you about if you hurt her… but I have a feeling that won’t be needed, and I don’t feel like getting thrown through a wall.” Natasha commented, giving a glance at Tony who was only just starting to get off the floor.
Thank you for reading! If you have any questions, please send them in!
The team doesn’t know what you are, or how you’re so good at what you do. But you’re not gonna risk being locked away by telling them you’re a monster, a literal storybook creature.
@emergenciesstory - Thank you for continuing to inspire me!
@bookscoffeeandracoons - I know you wanted more vampire x avengers content so this is something I’ve been dabbling in for a little while!
The black turtleneck was scratchy and tight against your neck, but your comfort was the least important factor at the moment. What held your attention was the hydra scum trying to kill you. Granted you were the one breaking in to sabotage their plans and ruin their so called “empire”, but these guys were taking it to a whole new level of headassery.
“Hey guys,” you pant after your sword ripped through a baddies armor, “ can we just call it a day?” Another guy swung their fists towards your torso, not landing the hit as you blocked it easily.
“It’s taco Tuesday at this great place I know,” you breathed out hastily, forcing yourself to continue as the cuts on your body healed as quickly as they came.
“It's not like I need to eat but, you know, it’s the sentiment,” you grab the guy closest to your right and sink your fangs into his neck.
Looking around, you relax as you realize that most of the hydra dicks were either dead or knocked out. Lunch was gonna be great.
The team had sent you on a simple recon mission, as far as they knew. Their intel was bad and you walked into a trap that even one of the Avengers would have a hard time walking away from in one piece. But that wasn’t you, and no matter how many times they would try to figure out how you were so good you weren’t going to let them see the monster lurking beneath the surface.
Being a vampire wasn’t bad, by any means. It was just so much less work to play off your lack of aging on being a mutated super soldier. If shield knew what you were, they would lock you up for as long as they thought possible. You would break out but they wouldn’t know that until it was too late, which would cause unwanted attention and enemies. Working with shield was amazing, taking down hydra and getting lunch was a dream! There was no way you’d give it up without a fight.
By the time you returned to avengers HQ it was dark and a storm was rolling in. You had no need for a fancy quinjet when you could run faster than they ever could. Finding the stashed Indian in between two heavily forested towns you rev the engine and make it back to base, ready to eat some tacos.
Walking into the southwest corridor where the landing patch was located you call out to Friday, questioning where everyone was, which resulted in no answer . Usually a teammate would greet you at the weapon room, getting you up to speed on any current missions and everyone’s whereabouts. Funnily enough, it was dark and quiet with only the rumbling of thunder in the distance. There was no mistake, as every hair stood up in anticipation, you were walking into a trap.
As enticing as another fight was, you had no intentions of letting your team know what you were. If you play your cards right, you'd manage to neutralize the threat without exposing your secret. Worst case scenario, well, let's hope it doesn't come to that. Besides, you already had dinner.
Taking a couple of steps, you pick up on a couple of voices coming from the common living area. You couldn’t discern whose voices they were which concerned you. Speeding over to the back wall, which would give you a better view of the common room, you notice a red cape and stall. Could this be the Norse god Tony had told you about? If so, who did the other voice belong too? There were too many missing variables in this equation, and Friday wasn’t any help at the moment.
Taking a minute to send a text to the group chat, you hear multiple phones go off from the common room. The voices quiet down completely, the pause of silence deafening. Focusing more, you listen to the heartbeats in the room. Counting eight, give or take, you realize it’s most likely your team but two remain a mystery. Deciding to take the chance, you make your way cautiously into the living area. To your surprise, your team is sitting calmly on the couches spread out across the room. You figure the big blonde man with the red cape is actually Thor, recalling his file. The pictures don’t do him justice. One other man is with him, lean but sharp looking, donning a green cape. Loki, you’re absolutely sure. Walking up to the two men who were standing, you stop and look into Loki’s eyes before slapping him across the face.
“That was for abandoning me in that Swiss village, leaving me for dead after saving your ass from certain death you useless twat!” His eyes sparkled with humor and mischief despite your words.
“You are looking very alive for being ‘left for dead’ darling. Tell me, how did you survive a sword to the heart, hm?” With those words your secret is practically out of the bag. He may as well told them what you were, if he even knew. But now the team is staring at you, waiting for an explanation but you have none.
Summary: More questions arise as you lie to your teams faces.

Two Gods and A Vampire
The silence was beyond nerve wrecking, the team of righteous heroes sat unmoving in a judgmental stupor. You were sure their minds were working overtime trying to piece together the many chips being tossed about in the living area by a specific pain in the ass Norse god. You didn’t know what to say but you needed to figure something out, and considering you were sure everything in the compound was being recorded and monitored, it needed to be believable.
“Not that it hasn’t been explained before, but I was used as a stand-in for their mutated super soldier serum remake that was botched. I was practically dead when they took me from that village, no thanks to you,” The venom in your voice made it clear to Loki that he was to blame for leaving you there for the people that were after him. He didn’t know that it wasn’t Hydra, or that they weren’t the ones to revive you but it was close enough to the truth, you had been used by Hydra but that didn’t happen until the 60’s. The partial truth didn’t register in his mind as a lie, he felt genuinely horrible at leaving you to those pests experiments. You hoped it was enough to take the pressure off of you as you asked the team a question, trying to change the topic of conversation.
“Why is Friday offline, and what’s with the no lights? I thought I was walking into a trap or something,” you couldn’t help but wonder what the reasoning behind it was.
“Oh, point break over there “accidentally” shot out our electric box by beaming down too close to the compound. Friday is undergoing some maintenance so this doesn’t happen again,” Stark answers while glaring at Thor for his transgression. That calms your nerves a bit, they weren’t trying to trap you and they didn’t suspect anything.
Yet. Your subconscious held the nagging suspicion that sooner rather than later you were gonna be forced to show them your hand.
You’d leave without a trace before revealing yourself to them, no need to let them in on the darker avenues of the afterlife. That would be a problem for another day though. Shrugging off your leather jacket, you take your leave and head to your room to shower and relax. Not bothering to listen to the continuing conversation taking place between the team and the two gods, you start your after battle self care routine feeling less nervous now that you were away from Loki.
You didn’t know what it was about the god that had you so frazzled. He left you for dead in that small village, not bothering to at the very least bury you properly. The sword had pierced close to your heart, not directly through it, but that didn’t matter. You still bled out on the muddy path that led to the town's hermit who just happened to be a vampire. An extremely old and disciplined vampire that took pity in his cold heart for a young maiden bleeding out next to horse shit. One blood transfer later and you were waking up on a bed of furs, the icy cold venom had flooded your body leaving you frozen in time in your 23 year old body. You could barely remember the actual date but you placed your turning around the early 1800s, losing track and not bothering to care enough to write it down. Besides, the last thing you needed was to have someone snoop and find out you were older than the big bad criminal organization Hydra. Unaware of the conversation taking place across the compound, you settle into your routine.
“Are you certain about this brother? Lady Y/N may be older than she appears but you're saying she's in her 200’s,” Thor whispers to Loki in Asgardian as the team talks amongst themselves.
“240 give or take and I am certain, Thor. There’s something very different about her but I’m quite positive she is the same maiden that helped me escape those wretched trials. Time has not touched her in the slightest,” Loki whispers back in Asgardian as well, so even if one of the mortals hears them speak they won’t understand.
“Should I-,”
“Don’t say a word to Odin, we don’t know what she is for sure but even you know he would gladly collect her like his precious relics and bend her to do his bidding,” Loki cuts Thor off, the hatred for Odin seeping into his voice unwillingly. Thor only nods to convey he understands, not wanting to upset his brother further.
Loki continues after a moment of silence, ”I’ll consult someone that may have the answers we seek if I cannot produce them without help,” Thor looks confused for a moment until Loki speaks again, “I have been missing the scenery in New Orleans of late.”
As the gods continue to speak, Natasha listens very carefully while maintaining conversation with Clint about his and Kate’s escapades the other night while she was on a mission. Truthfully, she had always had a sneaking suspicion that y/n wasn’t telling the full truth about her past but that was her preference and she couldn’t fault her for that. However, if it was true what Loki was saying, the team needed to know who she was, no exemptions.
Looking at her phone while still listening to both conversations, she reserved a hotel room in New Orleans for the following day so she could see what Loki would find out. Secrets got people killed, a lesson Natasha had learned the hard way. She also knew secrets kept people safe but the situations varied. This was one of those times where she wanted to determine the outcome before it became a bigger issue, one that couldn’t be settled with a simple explanation.
“Hey Clint, mind doing me a favor?” Nat asks with a small smile. It was time she cashed in a couple of favors.
Request:Can I request a Loki x reader? She's on the team and a vampire. When Thor brings Loki to stay at the tower she's automatically drawn to his scent. They end up falling for each other and he allows her to nip him a few times for bloody treat.
You had been on the team for a while. You were already a bit of an oddball so you fit right in. Fury had you on the team since you were agile, fast, but also incredibly strong. You’re not sure but it might have something to do with the fact that you’re a vampire. Because of this, you had a thirst for blood and so Tony had to pay for bags of blood for you. You only needed a shot of blood once a day to function, but Tony didn’t want to run out and then you be in a bad place where your instincts kick in and someone could get hurt.
Because of your lifestyle and everything at came with it, including accidents, lashing out, and being raised as a natural born killer, you had a strong mind. You could catch peoples scent and know a lot about them without them even speaking to you.
“I don’t understand why I must spend time at this tower!” Loki roared at his brother. Thor just pulled him along to the main room. Thor had asked if his brother could stay at the tower. Tony was hesitant for obvious reasons, and he had strict rules. No taking over the world, no leaving the tower without one of the other avengers. One muck up and he’d be locked away.
Before they entered the room, you could sense Thor, but you could sense someone else… they had an interesting scent, one that made you fascinated by the person who had it. The door opened and Loki looked around the room, instantly locking eyes with you. A fresh, interesting face. He could tell something was off about you, but he couldn’t guess what.
Nat didn’t like the way he was looking at you and was quick to sit close by and glare.
After Loki was allowed to wander the tower, he quickly made his way to his room to be alone. He hated being here and wanted to leave as soon as possible, but he knew the only way to leave was if he showed compassion and love in his heart.
He heard a knock on his door before it opened, revealing you. He creased his eyebrows, why had you come to see him? “Who are you? I don’t remember seeing you last time I was here.” He commented. You came and sat on the bottom of his bed and he sat at the top.
“My name is Y/N, I joined the Avengers not long ago. During the battle I was actually considered a villain myself… they took me in and helped me.” You informed him.
“If you believe that they will forgive me, you’d be wrong. I am considered a monster to them.” He spat at you. You looked him right in the eye, and he felt rather unsettled.
“I am a monster, Loki. I can run at inhumane speeds, rip men apart with my bare hands, and I do it simply for the blood. I’m a vampire, Loki. I’m a true monster, the things kids are scared of, and they pushed that aside and helped me. If they can do that for a real monster, they can help a considered monster.” You informed him, standing up and moving to the door. “If you need me, you can find me in my room or in the main room, don’t worry, I don’t bite.” You joked, before leaving the room.
Getting close to him didn’t help your addiction to his scent. Something about him was just… captivating.
Loki and you would talk every day and you were one of the only people he talked to, and the only one he liked. The Avengers usually found you talking about something random, laughing together and you teaching him about your world while he tells you about his. You were best friends and your friendship rivalled in danger with Natasha and Clint.
“Agent L/N, I need a word.” Fury ordered. You quickly left Loki’s side to go talk to your boss. Since his time here, you hadn’t gone on a mission. You were faster and stronger at night, so they only sent you on night missions every so often. Loki being Loki, he followed quietly behind. “You have a mission to complete tonight. You’ll be going alone, here are the reports.” Fury told you, handing the files to you.
As soon as you walked back into the room, Loki was quick to grab your hand and take you to his room. “Loki what’s wrong?” You asked.
“Are you going on a mission all by yourself?” He asked. Realising he overheard, you sighed.
“Loki, I’ve gone on them before. I’ll be fine.” You reassured. “I need to go.” You told him, turning to leave but he kept his grip on your arm.
“Why? Where are you going?” He asked. You sighed.
“I need a shot of blood to make sure I’m at my strongest for the mission. Tony has some blood stocked in for me. It’s the next closest thing to fresh blood.” You told him. Instead of letting you go, he offered his wrist to you. You looked up at him surprised but he just looked stern.
“Fresh blood is better, right?” He asked.
“Are you sure?” You asked, and he quickly nodded.
You sat down with him, and carefully sunk your teeth into his arm. He didn’t seem to be in pain, he didn’t even flinch. He just kept his eyes on you. You only took a few sips before pulling away and cleaning up his arm.
“Thanks for this…” You told him. He shook his head and quickly dismissed it.
“Agent L/N, it’s time to head to your mission.” The interspeaker informed you. You sent a reassuring smile to Loki, giving him a kiss on the head before leaving.
You were gone the entire night. Loki could barely sleep. What if something went wrong? Laying there, he realised how badly he needed you… how much he craved you. Your smile, your laugh, your voice, how you kept him down to earth, and treated him normally. It finally came to him why he found you so interesting.
He loved you.
He waited in your room for you to come back. His heart wouldn’t stop beating at a rapid speed. He jumped up when the door opened. You walked in, your head down. As soon as the door closed you seemed to sink into the floor. Loki quickly picked you up, sitting you on the bed and turning on the light. He saw the blood that stained your hands and dug under your nails. “Y/N, what happened?” He asked softly.
“I… I lost control… he got me so angry… he talked about you and I got so angry… I-I ripped him in half…” You admitted. Loki held onto you tightly. He had never seen you at a disadvantage. He had only seen you as a strong woman.
“Hey, it’s ok. We all mess up. You looked up at him.
“I-I’m a monster…” You told him. He shook his head quickly.
“I don’t care. I still love you.” He blurted. You looked at him surprised by what he said.
“You don’t mean that.” You accused. You were covered in another man’s blood, how could he love you? To prove his point, he quickly kissed you.
“I mean every word.”
