Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver remake announced! So far Crystal Dynamics has released the following list of QOL improvements we can expect to build upon the game's original design:

- Over-the-shoulder perspective

- Kain smiles more

- After each successful kill Raziel randomly says one of the following: > "Looks like your soul just got reavered!" > "That's what happens when your soul gets reavered!" > "I think we can consider that soul... uh-reavered!" > "Yo soul just got reavered, boyeeee!"

- Worse graphics

A little preview of what's to come from that prior animation post. The gif got real cronchy and doesn't do the colours and lighting justice.

I took some liberties in imagining how Raziel's clan territory would look prior to being cast into the abyss. Layout isn't really my forte so the remaster's photo mode was a big help.

To those playing Ascendance at launch, I hope you guys have fun tomorrow and let me know how it is. The pixel art looks great and it will be nice hearing some familiar voices again. I wonder if you'll be able to explore Raziel's territory in it's prime.

I am a horrible person and it makes me sad (<- forgot to post this on Sunday)

Anyways. At long last. I have finished it.

Think I started coloring this whole thing on my phone until I was able to transfer it to my computer. Chipping away at each section of Raziel, it finally all came together when I made the background and overlayed it, adding some minor lighting adjustments. Could I have done Sarafan Raziel's face a bit better? Probably. I'm just happy it's over. This design will also be posted to my Redbubble shop, so keep an eye out for that. Anyways, hope you enjoy <3

Little more progress. Still a bit more to fix up before fully diving in to cleanup but at least everything isn't flying everywhere.

Hey y'all! Work has been a bit slow with chapter 3, but I promise I'm working on it! I also got another drawing idea coming up soon.In the meantime, here's a drawing of Kain questioning his choice to cast Raziel into the abyss. I like to think the Razielim banners were torn down, and as he's left alone in the Sanctuary, he's mulling over his decision (bc let's be honest, he only pretends to be smarter than he is at times).
