Noh Shinwoo is one of my favorite gay teens because I like seeing him figure out how to flirt even after homophobes stunted his initial growth. He's just so absolutely embarrassing as he tries to engage with Woo Taekyung.

I'm really not trying to bash Sohee but her attitude is just so nasty. I partly blame Daon because as she said he treats everyone like they are special and while she was saying that to hurt Taekyung it's clear that call is coming from inside the house.
Daon was extra nice and possibly flirtatious to her and she thinks she's special to him like everyone else he encounters including Taekyung.
The only difference is that with Taekyung Daon is exhibiting behaviors no one has ever seen (including Sohee) that raises alarms because now they see what special actually means to Daon and she doesn't like that she isn't on the receiving end of it. The other part of it is that she feels entitled to Daon and his feelings because she's liked him so long. Like he owes it to her to be chosen and that's where that nastiness comes from.
The only thing Daon owes Sohee is an honest conversation but the only person Daon feels like he can be honest with is Taekyung and that is a whole different problem that has nothing to do with Sohee.
I appreciate that Daon feels like he can be his authentic self around Taekyung and that he can confide in him. That he finally has someone in his life who is happy to see him and talk to him without expecting anything in return. It's gotta be relieving.
"They're just gossiping and spreading rumors." Ma'am YOU spread that picture around AND YOU STARTED THOSE RUMORS! YOU OUTED DAON AND TAEKYUNG and now you're trying to back pedal because you don't want Daon to hate you.
Here is the other reason the love triangle works so well in Light on Me. Daon and Shinwoo don't try to tear each other down to appeal to Taekyung. They both have their own relationship with him and they're not about to spend their time downtalking the other one. They are best friends who happen to like the same guy and they both acknowledge it. They truly leave the choice up to Taekyung.
