Drumming your fingers against the table for what feels like the thirtieth time you check your phone and sigh at the time, he's late….again. You know you really shouldn't be anxious by this, Buck's a firefighter after all so he's often busier than most other people you've dated, but due to his occupation you can't help but fear for the worst every single time he's late for something important like this. He's supposed to be meeting your parents after all and they're already less than impressed with his tardiness. Hell, they haven't been happy with anything regarding him from the moment you decided to tell your parents the two of you were dating. 'A firefighter? Why didn't you date that nice boy from law school?' Your mother had asked, 'A firefighter isn't a good match for you, he'll always be out in the public eye getting attention from other women- he'll cheat on you in an instant and then you'll be heartbroken again dear!' Your father had pointed out, but it wasn't like that. Buck never paid attention to any other women when he was on shift- and he got plenty of attention from them. They're just trying to make you afraid that he's out with some random woman right now.

You're certain that he's just running late, that time got away from him and he'll walk through the restaurant doors any moment now, but another moment passes by and you begin to wonder if somethings happened at work. Had there been an earthquake? No, your phone would've been blowing up with news stories and you're certain that you would've felt it so you decide that it wasn't an earthquake….maybe it was a last minute call that was taking longer than expected. Buck is fine. He's just…busy. A little heads up would be nice so that you could calm down but it's okay because he's probably just busy. Occupational hazards be damned, Buck is a fantastic firefighter so you're sure everything is okay and that the 118 are just caught up in a call- not in a this is a very dangerous situation we're in kind of call but more of a this is taking longer than we expected type of call…except those two calls usually went hand in hand with one another. Would it be bad to call him? Probably. If he's still at work you don't want to bother him…but your growing anxiety won't be settled;ed until you've texted him at the very least.

Hey babe! Just wanted to make sure everything's alright and we're still on for tonight? Love you!

The fact that your message refuses to send makes your anxiety worse. A cell tower must be down, or maybe you're just in an area with bad signal? Maybe he's in an area with bad signal. There has to be some kind of explanation as to why your messages aren't sending, hesitantly you put your phone down and smile tightly at your parents and they return said smile. "So…is your date going to be joining us any time soon or will we be here for another half hour waiting?" Your mother asks, she's the one whose been the least supportive of your relationship so it's no wonder she's taking the moment to point out her distaste for your boyfriend's tardiness. You force yourself not to point out that the only one to show up on time to the restaurant had been yourself.

"He's just running a little late mom, he's going to be here soon." You promise, though whether you're trying to convince her or yourself is another conversation entirely. Your father scoffs beside her and you swallow a lump in your throat- no- there's no reason to pick a fight with them, he's going to show up, he's just running late, he loves you, he's coming.

"Are you sure he's even going to show up? What if…what if he's just not as interested as you thought he was?" Your father asks and it's enough to break the camel's back.

"Okay, that's it. We're done here. I have done everything you two have ever wanted! I went to law school, I had the best grades, I never drank, I never smoked, I never had a boyfriend, I never partied! I never got to live my life the way I wanted to because I was so busy living up to all of your unreal expectations! Buck lets me do what I want! He doesn't yell at me if I'm late, he doesn't berate me because I don't want to be a lawyer, he gives me compliments and tells me he loves me and he's proud of me!" You yell grabbing the entire restaurants attention, people have stopped what they're doing to turn your way and listen to the ongoing argument.

"Stop it! This isn't the time or the place!" Your mother hisses in embarrassment but you don't care, you've spent all of your life doing exactly what they wanted when they wanted it and now it's been enough. You're done living your life according to them.

"There's never a right place or time with you, I'm never allowed to speak my mind and I can't take it anymore! And you know what? I don't need to hear anymore bullshit from the two of you regarding Buck and my choices, you two don't run my life anymore and until then, we're done talking." You state with an air of finality. Before either of them can respond you stand up from the table and move to the exit, bumping straight into someone's chest, you move to apologize until realizing that it's Buck dressed in a lovely suit holding a bouquet of your favorite flowers.

Immediately any and all anger leaves you, replaced with worry as to where he has been. "Hey! I'm so sorry I'm late but I got you-!" He begins to explain with that charming smile across his face before you suddenly pull him into a hug, relief flooding through you, nothing that happened with your parents matters anymore.

"I've been worried sick! Where the hell were you?!" You ask lightly punching his arm.

"Ow! Geez I said I was sorry, I got stuck in traffic on the way here. I would've texted you but my phone died while I was at work…is everything okay?" He asks in concern, you can't help but smile and nod.

"Yeah, yeah everything great now." You answer matching his smile from earlier.

"Oh, good! Well then I'm ready to meet your par-" He begins before you take him by the arm and begin leading him out of the restaurant, "Wait where are we going? I thought we were having dinner with your parents?" Buck asks in confusion with a small frown as the two of you walk out of the restaurant.

"We were but…they didn't show up, so I think pizza at your place sounds so much better."

Prompt: Gingerbread houses

"Build a gingerbread house on stream" they said. "It'll be fun!" they said.

They lied. They lied so so so much.

"That looks like shit." Schlatt said blandly.

"Oh my god, shut up, this isn't about you." You replied in a fake, exaggerated, angry tone. You looked at the camera with a deadpan look on your face. "Men, am I right? All about them." You sighed dramatically.

In all fairness, he wasn't wrong. The walls were falling to bits and the icing was incredibly smudged. From all the failed attempts at trying to fix it, the house had become more icing than gingerbread.

"That's me at midnight on the first of December," he grinned, earning a loud smack on the back of the head.

"What would Pope Francis say?" you shook your head at him, still trying to fix the monstrosity that was your current gingerbread house.

Said cardboard figure had been temporarily stationed in the kitchen. Schlatt turned to him with a thousand-yard stare.

"I've been thinking," you began.

He swiftly cut you off. "Don't hurt yourself."

"I'll hurt you in a second, if you keep this up." You glared at him playfully. "But I've been thinking, and I now have a plan, and a very good one at that."

You began to enact your plan whilst he watched in a mix of fear, judgement and confusion. The walls no longer stood tall - now fallen over to lean on each other, with the roof pieces been broken into two pieces each. Then came the strawberry laces that were haphazardly thrown over the gingerbread men, which all had a variety of clothing. One had a poor recreation of Charlie's first merch hoodie, one had Tommy's signature red and white shirt, and the final one was split in half, black and white with no added details.

"What is this scene?" He asked, laughing.

"Gas explosion." You deadpanned, staring into his eyes. "Not everybody gets a good Christmas, Schlatt."

The majority of the lore between the two of you is angsty as FUCK

On stream, he tries not to be too touchy or affectionate

He thinks people will be invasive or intrusive into your relationship, so he keeps it all off camera

Tommy is about shouty, tbh. He's in shock that you told him your birthday by showing him the fucking cow print trousers that your mum got you.

Tubbo kind of forgets he didn't already know your birthday. He's just going with it, like he knew all along. He tries not to make a big deal out of it.

Niki is quite honoured that you've told her. She doesn't know a lot about you, since privacy is very important to you, so she's glad you're letting her into that part of your life.

Jack finds it quite funny that this is how he's finding out it's your birthday. Yes, he's glad you trust him with that information, but that doesn't mean it's not quite funny. He'll probably forget you don't share your birthday online though, and he might let it slip.

Wilbur is quite annoyed that you only just told him. Not because he feels entitled to know, but he's annoyed that he hasn't had time to get you anything, so he sends something to your house to arrive tomorrow with Amazon prime.

Schlatt half-thinks it's a joke - a way to throw him off and make him think it's your birthday, when it's actually not. He's quite confused when you laugh at him for thinking that.

C!Techno, though he doesn't act like it, is glad you told him. To everyone else on the SMP, you were a mystery. Nobody knew where you were from or when you were born, so he was quite honoured to know. He tries to throw something together as a small gift, though.

Phil is in disbelief that you've told him with no issues - so casually. He's glad you told him, it proves that your relationship really has changed over the time you've known each other.

Being Wilbur's younger sibling but closer to Jack

A/N: i swear i'll post more, i've been really invested in school work recently, but I'm off school for christmas holidays!!!

This is inspired by @beeindaclouds's similar fics!! part one is here

For a while, you felt jealous of the bond between Tommy and Wilbur

You knew he wasn't doing it on purpose, but that didn't make you feel any different

It was always "Tommy this", "Tommy that" with him. You tried to ignore it - you really did!

But you couldn't help it

Don't get me wrong - you liked tommy. The two of you got on well together

But nothing you, him or Wilbur ever did would change your feelings

When Wilbur and Jack started talking and became friends, you tagged along on a lot of their outings

He made a lot of jokes at your expense about having to babysit you, hence you joining them, but it never took away from the fact that Jack did genuinely like you

In fact, he liked you so much that he started reaching out to hang out - just the two of you

You weren't a content creator by any means, but with how often you were hanging out during his streams, you might as well have been

He pushed you to do a lot of things you wouldn't normally have done /pos

He encouraged you to pursue the things you loved

It was weird - you two acted more like siblings than you did with Wilbur

Obviously, since you weren't a content creator, you had other ambitions, and you'd got into Brighton University with ease

When he offered to let you stay with him, and you declined, since you and Jack had already arranged for you to move in with him, it broke him

He didn't know what he had done wrong for you to choose his best friend over your own brother

Nevertheless, he moved on from it

If you wanted to spend time with Jack rather than him, that was none of his business

Maybe it pissed him off that you chose his friend over him - could he even say that anymore? He was your friend, too - but that wouldn't really mean anything, would it?

Okay, maybe he was a bit jealous. And maybe you knew and were just ignoring it. But hey, karma's a bitch sometimes! These feelings had been with you for far too long now, it wouldn't kill him to feel what you've been feeling

Speaking of, since hanging out with Jack, it had been a while since you'd felt that way

He made you feel appreciated in a way that Wilbur hadn't for a long time

You never told him why you always seemed so tense around him, and they thought it better not to ask

When Wilbur came to help you move your things into Jack's flat, there was a thick tension between you two

No matter what Jack tried, nothing seemed to break it

Finally, after two hours (though it felt like twelve), Wilbur left, and it gave Jack the chance to ask the question he was left wondering whenever it was just you, him and Wilbur

"Just out of curiosity," he began, awkwardly leaning on the kitchen counter. "Why are you and Will so distant now?" At your confused face, he elaborated. "Just 'cause you seemed really close when I first met you. Now you barely speak to each other."

"I mean, we were never really that close. Just hung out with the same people. Besides, he had other people to focus on, like you and Tommy and Niki." You explained casually, sitting on the counter opposite from him.

"Okay, you weren't like, best friends. But when he was here earlier, you were really tense. Both of you. It was weird - I've never seen two siblings so awkward around each other. Did one of you do something?"

"Jack, you don't want to know. It's just stupid and petty. Don't bother yourself about it."

"I wouldn't ask if I didn't want to know. Besides, stupid and petty shit is the only really interesting shit I get to hear."

"I don't really know. He just always prioritised Tommy and you lot more than me, and he's literally my brother. Since we started hanging out, you've been more like a brother than he has for the past few years. I get that it's childish and shit, but it still pisses me off."

"It's not that childish."

"I can't tell if you're taking the piss or not, but if you are, I will be moving out."

"I'm not! It is fair - compared to him and Tom, you two might as well be strangers. I know what you mean. But it's not gonna change if you don't talk to him about it."

"But that's awkward and therefore I won't be doing it."

"I'll tell him if you don't want to do it."

"Fuck off, really? You'd actually do that."

"Well yeah, but you'd have to actually talk to him about it. I'll just tell him what you told me and get him to talk to you."

True to his word, Jack did message Wilbur on your behalf

Which brought about the hard part, actually talking to him about it. You wanted to, yes, but you failed to realise that that would mean actually speaking to him about it

You did speak to him, though! And cried, since I can't talk about my feelings without crying and I'm in a #projecting mood /nav

He was nicer about it than you had expected him to be

And, although it started out tense and awkward, you two did start to build a better sibling relationship

And you stopped being resentful to Tommy, which was a miracle in itself

He had noticed your bitterness towards him, but he never really knew why (and he never would)

The result?

Countless videos titled "Wilbur and Y/N being siblings for eight minutes straight". It almost rivalled the videos of you and Jack or Tommy and Wilbur

But through all this, you still lived with Jack since, even if Wilbur lived only ten minutes away, moving is such a pain, and one you're not willing to endure again
