He's been getting bored from the reruns of his old favorite shows so I let him go through my Netflix list do we could binge watch together. As a result he started watching some anime and DC dramas. He really likes Death Note and criticizing it with me, and One Punch Man is quickly becoming a new favorite. Supernatural, he says, is very slice-of-life despite the paranormal journey, and he totally believes Destiel is subtextually canon?? Same with Johnlock. "Offscreen," he insists, "because the show would lose airing rights if they canonically showed gay sex on-screen." I don't think my 55 year-old dad realizes that a lot of shows nowadays do just that but I don't want to crush his dreams lmao,,
