Long Summers
What could you do? You couldn't run away. Things wound up found, there where the landscape held As much as scattered, old barns, slack gates, And leaning sheds with sides soft as their mosses.
But sometimes change came of itself, Roll gusts and sinking temperatures While sashes dropped and lawn chairs waited. Lightning mapped high boundaries, And empty barrels rolled the rafters. Suddenly one day turned to full season, Though seasons never lasted long. Soon light, then heat, windows rattled up; Voices dried the air.

I have been working very hard the past 3 weeks fixing the mistakes my cousin made while trying to create a garden here. I'm not a expert gardener but a little research goes a long way. Today my sweet basil is sprouting ,I would worry about sprouting seeds so close to midsummer but this area doesn't see fall until after late September. Also 30 and below before January-February are rare which should make for a great fall garden.
