Mysticons Fan Episode: Lost Magic
The Mysticons are training when all of a sudden, they go back to their civilian forms. They are confused and try to transform, but can't. They realize that their magical devices, such as the Spell Pad Malavaron was using to record the training for future reference, stopped working as well. Thinking it's some kind of power outage, they decide to ask Queen Goodfey if she knows anything.
They go to Queen Goodfey to see what was going on. Queen Goodfey says that, while she doesn't know the cause, magic is going out throughout the city. She asks the Mysticons if they still have their powers, and they say no. Queen Goodfey tells them to leave it to the guards, as they don't have their powers anymore, but Zarya says that, no matter whether or not they have their powers, they are still Mysticons.
They go to the stronghold, discussing how they will find where the magic is going. Em begins working on a device that, while it can identify magic, it isn't magical itself. As they are working on the device, Sharise brings up how important it is to figure out what's going on soon, as people rely on magic to power all sorts of machines, including ones used in the hospital. Piper wonders if magic is simply gone, but Arkayna reassures her that magic can't simply dissapear. The device is finished, and there is a surge of magic in Drake City.
They follow the device's signal to a nearby forest, where it's getting stronger. Just then, various animals start attacking. Em wonders if the animals are scared, but Sharise points out how planned everything seemed, and they realize that the animals are being controlled through magic. They defeat the animals, though they do struggle due to not having magic.
After following the device's signal for a little while longer, they find a trap door and go through it. They find a room full of magical objects, and when Piper tests one, they find that it still works. Just then, a dwarven woman comes, and says that she will have control over all the magic, so none can be used against her, and introduces herself simply as The Sorcerer. A fight ensues, and they realize that while a lot of magic went towards the inventions, she still gave herself a lot. The Mysticons are forced to retreat.
At the stronghold, they discuss what to do, as The Sorcerer is too strong. Arkayna brings up how life was simplier when she didn't have magic, and only had to focus on training. This gives Sharise an idea, and she says that The Sorcerer is probably overconfident with having magic, and could easily let her guard down, so if they come up with a plan that will surprise The Sorcerer, it should work.
Arkayna, Em, and Sharise are the first one's in the stronghold, and when they see The Sorcerer again, begins fighting her with weapons Em made. The Sorcerer seems to be winning the fight, but she doesn't notice Zarya and Piper sneaking around to the machine, and to communicate with Piper without The Sorcerer knowing, Sharise uses Elvish to talk to Piper, making it sound like she's insulting The Sorcerer so The Sorcerer doesn't notice that Sharise is actually helping Piper and Zarya know where to hide if The Sorcerer is about to see them. Zarya and Piper do manage to unplug the machine, and with the powers back, the Mystcons manage to defeat The Sorcerer.
Leaving the hideout, the Mysticons are talking about their adventure. Em suggests that they got too comfortable with usng their magic, and that they should do some trainng without their powers in case something like this happens again. The other Mysticons agree.
