Please don’t Judge me too hard, this is only my first!

Neville woke up suddenly and immediately realized he was back at Hogwarts.
“What is that annoying noise?” He thought
He drowsily got up out of bed and went to the nearest window in his office where the noise seemed to be coming from. It was the middle of winter and the windows were so foggy he couldn’t see a thing.
He opened the window and in flew a beautiful brown owl named Cheese because Luna just loved naming things by their traits and when they went to the pet shop to buy him, the manager told them that he would do literally anything for a single piece of cheese.
He took the glittery note out of Cheese’s mouth and opened it very carefully knowing full-well it was from his wife. As he opened it, he noticed that Cheese had also brought a package. He decided to read the letter first.
I just wanted to send this to you, your first year of teaching at Hogwarts wouldn’t really work if you didn’t have your wand! I miss you already! But I’m looking forward to seeing you during break. Aliyah sent me a letter this morning telling me she got sorted into Hufflepuff and she was so thrilled! She told me she would go over to your office before class today. She seems to be a bit more nervous than we expected. She said you couldn’t stop smiling at her last night and was hoping to give her father another hug. She also asked me why you had walked off so quickly. I’m guessing the new potter boy frightened you just a bit? Our daughter said he’s actually quite cute. Anyways make sure you don’t lose your wand again, even though you are teaching herbology, I’m sure you are going to need it at some point!!
P.S. Make sure that you give Cheese the cheddar I enclosed so that he’ll be more willing to make the flight home!
Neville set down the sparkly letter and opened the package that included a piece of cheese (which when taking out of the package lured Cheese right over) and Neville’s wand.
He handed the Cheddar cheese to Cheese and sat down at his desk to write his reply (all while hiding a second piece to give him after he finished the letter). He took out his quill and parchment and began writing,
Thank you for sending me my wand! My Rememberall was glowing red all night and I couldn’t figure out why. Now I know. Thank you, I knew there was a reason I married you! Anyway Aliyah just walked into the room so I will have to keep this short. I’m proud of our little girl making it into hufflepuff but I think I’m going to have a talk with her about Albus Potter, it’s too soon for her to be having crushes! I walked off quickly because I was so concerned about the Rememberall being red and as for her being nervous, I think I’m just going to remind her how I was my first week. Anyways, I have to end this, Aliyah is telling me to “hurry up” because she has class soon.
Neville rolled up his parchment and handing Cheese his treat, before handing him the parchment. As Cheese flew off, he turned to his daughter.
“He sweetie, what is your first class today?”
“Herbology Dad” Said Aliyah shaking her head
“Why are you shaking your head” he asked quizzically
“Because Dad,” Said Aliyah, “If I’m running late than so are you! And for Godric’s sake you are the professor!”
Neville Jumped up so quickly that he upended his ink onto his nightclothes.
“Alright Dad, Calm down. I’ll get you some clothes to change into, I can’t be late if the professor is running late too!”
Neville sighed and ran to take a quick shower to clean off all the ink. He finished in record time and got out of the shower. To his surprise, his daughter had already laid out clean clothes for him. He got dressed quickly and went out to meet Aliyah so that they could walk together to class.
“I’m so glad to have a family member to help me through” Neville thought “I don’t know what I would do without her.”
